As a BSS/ Postpaid Billing Operations Specialist, I am responsible for managing Telenor Pakistan’s over-all postpaid billing activities. This
includes running day to day operations of billing system, trouble shooting and performing health checks. I am also responsible for configuring new product/price plan & discounts & liaise with vendors/business for all correspondence. The Key responsibilities includes:
- Supervising a team of Charging and billing professionals.
- Ensuring Core operation like Billing, Invoicing, Rating and Payment processing
- Data Analysis and Data Quality Management
- Assisting End Users by providing the solution of issues logged on Service Manager and the root cause analysis for a permanent fix.
- Identification and prevention of revenue leakages with the help of TRAP (Telenor Revenue Assurance Process)
- Conducting Analytical reviews with end user to gauge the Operational Excellence
- Managing Change Releases of BSS implementing complete SDLC
- Effective communication with vendors and End users
- Operational Process Automation
Technologies & Tool: Infinys Rating And Billing, Oracle 10g, DOC1, HP-UX Unix, Shell Script.
I was System-X and DWH operations team member, I as operations executive was responsible for overall operational activities. This includes running day to day operations of System-X, trouble shooting and performing health checks. I was also responsible for configuring new campaigns & liaise with vendors/business for all correspondence. My key responsibilities includes but were not limited to:
- Ensuring Core operation like Campaign Management, ETL Monitoring, Bonus Posting and accuracy
- Data Analysis and Data Quality Management
- Assisting End Users by providing the solution of issues logged on Service Manager and the root cause analysis for a permanent fix.
- Identification and prevention of revenue leakages with the help of TRAP (Telenor Revenue Assurance Process)

System-X is Teradata based campaign management solution to enhance customer loyalty and reduce churn by up-sell / cross sell offers to Telenor Pakistan subscribers.
I was in different roles during my stay at Advanced Communications, from a junior web developer to Team lead Web Development. Supervised a team of web developer/designers throughout the development of HostingController (http://hostingcontroller.com) product and its supporting utilities.
Hosting Controller provides full management to perform all administration tasks related to web server management, Server
Migration, DNS, Mail, Database connections, database backups and restoration, website statistics, sending email alerts and
Reports, complete management and integrated auto billing. All HostingController Web Panel users can efficiently manage and maintain their FTP & Web based sites. Hosting Controller provides the flexibility to use any operating system (Windows, Linux), Cluster Management with single UI, Built in Load Balancing Component and a fully customizable interface with Multi-lingual
support for all right-to-left and left-to-right languages.
