* Leading a Team involved in Re-measurement of as-built quantities, Preparation of Change-orders and Monthly Billing and involved in Contractual Claim preparation by assigning and supervising their work.
* Responsible for Re-measurement of all Unit Rate contracts. Responsible includes Examine and interpretation of terms and conditions of contract, setting up the procedure to conduct re-measure, co-ordination with client, attend meetings, agreement and signing-off of Final Amount with clients designated representatives.
* Identifying and creating Unit Rates for the items that are not included in contract based on actual resource spent.
* Estimating Lump Sum cost for Changes and agree with clients designated representative when required.
* Co-ordination with all Internal Departments, Project Managers and Project Engineers for clarification of any issues related to actual installed quantity, data requirement and reports requirement.
* Preparing contractual correspondence as required for review by the Contracts Manager prior to submission.
* Subcontract management which includes performance monitoring, scrutinizing subcontractor’s payment valuations.
* Monitoring the purchasing of all equipments and materials, liaising when necessary with the Procurement department.
* Monitoring material wastage and ensure unused materials are returned to stock and evaluate the wastage percentage and ensure the percentage is within the allowed allowances.
* Attending Monthly Project Review and Commercial meetings.
* Involving in preparation of Claims (Acceleration, Delay etc.).
* Ensure the team follows the companies Quality Procedure and also ensure all the evaluations are done in accordance to the terms and conditions agreed in the contract.
* Responsible for preparing Bill Of Quantities for Piping, Steel Structure and Painting of Piping and Steel Structure works
* Monitoring and evaluating actual Fabrication, Painting and Installation progress in terms of quantity based on WBS breakdown and reporting to the Project Controls on weekly basis in order to enable them to generate weekly and Monthly progress reports
* Monitoring Purchase and delivery of major Materials and Equipment and include in monthly milestone payment valuation
* Monitoring Free Issue materials and Equipments delivery with material and equipment delivery schedule and reporting to Project Controls for any changes
* Preparation and submission of Change Orders and follow up with client for approval
* Attend progress and commercial meetings
* Reconciliation of materials at the end of project
* Verifying and approving sub-contractors installed quantity, progress and the invoice for payment
* Responsible for preparing Bill of Quantities and monitoring progress of actual completed quantity
* Responsible for preparation of weekly and monthly construction progress reports and monthly invoice based on actual progress and following up with client for approval
* Re-measurement of as-built quantity and evaluating final amount in accordance to the terms and conditions of contract, submission and obtain approval
* Identifying and preparation of variations based on lump sum, day work basis and follow up with client for approval
* Verification and approval of sub-contractors work for painting, insulation and scaffolding
* Monitoring Purchase and delivery of major Materials and Equipment and in order to prepare milestone payment application.
* Reconciliation of materials at the end of project
* Attend progress and commercial meetings
* Take charge of Planning Engineer during his leave and update progress and recourses in primavera schedule.
* Establish Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and integrate with WBS and primavera activities
* Prepare, Maintain, monitor and control project budgets, through Project Controls system, and issue variance reports on monthly basis
* Performing cost analysis, project cost forecast reports and identifying cost risks for construction activities
* Establishing progress reporting system in coordination with client in agreed format and preparing weekly and monthly construction Progress Reports which includes S-curves, PMS (Project Monitoring Schedule), Histogram etc. based on progress data received from Project site
* Coordination with Finance department on posting actual cost and issues related to asset register.
* Controlling of assets/material transfer from/to project site.
* Comparing budgeted man hours and the allocation of man hours for each activity and analyze Labor productivity and efficiency.
* Update company production rate data base for new activities based on actual resource spent
* Maintaining comprehensive accessible registers of all financial reports, progress reports and variations
* Attend progress and commercial meetings
* Any other duty assigned by seniors and Manager time to time
