• Support divisions/departments in forecasting annual procurement needs based on previous needs and plans taking into consideration set guidelines and tools
• Develop procurement plan ensuring compliance with procurement strategic objectives and set budget
• Establish procurement program including volume, nature of goods and services needed and highlight areas for improvement to optimize program’s efficiency
• Evaluate supply market analysis and trends, and identify sourcing types to be able to optimize procurement schedules and cost Update procurement plan with needed quantity, methods of supply, total estimated costs, delivery requirements and schedule
• Assist in the development of pre-qualification guidelines and criteria covering all relevant assessment measures essential for suppliers’ selection taking into consideration received purchase requisition and previous lessons learned
• Review purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with set guidelines, criteria and budget to be able to proceed with the purchase
• Ensure all documents needed to evaluate and assess potential suppliers are collected and accordingly conduct the assessment and suggest selected suppliers to collaborate with to secure Departments’ needs at a minimal cost
• Update vendors’ database to reflect all of suppliers new inputs and compare collected information to ensure appropriate decisions are being made concerning suppliers’ selection
• Develop request for proposal’s scope and terms including timeline, templates, guidelines and expected price range and communicate it with management for approval and finalization
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions and ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management
