Review Technical Project Specification of Mechanical Works for Farsi Seven Residential Towers Project.
Review and approve the following:
• Mechanical material submittals respect to project specification and recommended manufacturers.
• Mechanical Shop & Coordination drawings for Plumbing, Fire Fighting and HVAC.
• Mechanical Material Inspections with respect to the approved material submittals.
• Mechanical work installation, test and flushing inspections for Plumbing, Fire Fighting and HVAC systems according to latest approved shop drawings and material submittals.
• As-built drawings respect to site execution.
Inspection and approval for the Ceiling Close Release prior to closing the false ceiling.
Daily site visit to ensure the contractor manpower and their work locations.
Raise site observation reports for any unprofessional work and storage of material at site.
Maintain proper records of all the above activities on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Inspection and approval for the Installation, Test, Operation and Commissioning for the following major equipments covered inside buildings:
• Water supply lifting pumps
• Submersible pumps
• Fire Fighting pumps
• HVAC equipments like AHU’s, FCU’s, VRF units and Package Units
• Swimming pools equipments
• Sauna, Jacuzzi and Steam
• Garbage Chutes
• Elevators
• Stair case pressurization fans
• Exhaust Fans

Execution and Supervision of Mechanical Systems in HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting.
1) Chilled Water Piping installation, testing and commissioning.
2) Installation of AHU's and their assembly.
3) Drainage system Installation (Gravity flow and Forced mains)
4) Plumbing system installation (Zam Zam water and Domestic Water).

Internal - Technical Office
Review of the Final Design Drawings and Project Specification’s for Electro Mechanical works and preparation of Shop Drawings, detail drawings, As-built; Submitting for approval to Consultant.
Preparation of Sketches, Sections, Orthographic projections, Isometric views, Installation details and Coordination Drawings for all Electro Mechanical Works and Equipments to provide detailed information during execution and also submission to client for approval.
Preparation of Method Statements for Installation of Electro Mechanical Equipments, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Chilled Water Piping Installations (Small bore in internal Building and Large Bore coming from the Main Central Utility Complex).
Raise RFI’s and TQ’s for solving and rectification of Technical issues.
Attending the Weekly meetings with Contractor and Consultant for updates and planning look-ahead schedule.
Attending Meetings with management and Supplier for material issues.
Worked on the direct Instructions by Site Manager and Construction Manager on the following:
a) Preparation of Material Submittals after thorough review in accordance with Project Specifications and sending them for approval to Consultant (Egypt, Cairo).
b) Prepared ICL (Inspection Check List) for Shamiyah Haram Expansion Project in the year 2010 for Submission to Contractor for Approval.
c) Prepared and Designed the Heavy Supports for Under Elbow to Riser of Storm Water Ductile Iron Pipes and got approved from Consultant.
d) Prepared Three Months Look Ahead Schedule in coordination with Planning Department at the beginning of Project in 2010.
e) Worked on the concept of designing the Gravity flow Drainage System and submitted the Proposal to Consultant for approval.
f) Prepared the System that will control the Materials from Material Requisition stage to Delivery and Installation at Site.
g) Prepared the Systems that will control and maintain all the incoming Design, Shop, Builders Work, and Electro Mechanical Coordination Drawings (Established the Document Control System Setup in the project).
External - Execution / Site Supervision
Lead Engineer for 4 zones, with a team of 8 Junior Engineers and their teams, for execution of Electro Mechanical Works in Haram Building Expansion Project.
Supervision for Execution of Electro Mechanical Works such as Installation of:
1. Electro Mechanical Equipments (AHU’s, FCU’s, Fans, Pumps, Switchgears, Transformers, EMDB’s, EMCC’s, DP’s, Final Branch Panels, etc., ) as per the Manufacturer recommended drawings and approved equipment layout.
2. Ducting, Fire Fighting Pipes, Chilled Water Piping and Plumbing; as per the approved Shop Drawings & Coordination Drawings.
3. Hydrostatic testing of all the Mechanical Piping Installations.
4. Air Leak Test for all the Ducting.
Participating in regular Site Inspections for all Electro Mechanical Works with Quality Control Department, Contractor and Consultant.
Raising Internal and External Letters related to execution and other special scopes.
Attending the Internal and External Meeting with company management, Contractor and Consultant for updates and look ahead’s.
1. As a Piping & Mechanical Site Engineer for Desalination plant (skid), Pearl Shell GTL Project.
Area In-Charge for Fabrication & Erection of 10, 000 ID of Piping (CS, SS, DUPLEX, GRP and GRVE), their Welding, Modification, Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Testing on Desalination skid.
Worked on 150 hydrostatic and pneumatic test packs.
Review and Study of all the approved Drawings for the Desalination Skid.
Preparation of rigging study to execute the piping under congested area.
Raise RFI’s and TQ’s in case of any Technical issues during construction.
Worked on Site Instructions issued by the contractor for modifications.
Attending the daily meeting with the Contractor (JGC & KBR) to update the daily progress and plan for the work front.
Completing the final post punch list of the system and reinstatement.
Handover the system to the Contractor after the reinstatement of piping with all Mechanical Equipments and Instruments.
2. As a Field Engineer Piping, Ras Laffan Olefin Project.
Mark up of all the Isometric drawings of piping and issue them for construction.
Preparation of the Hydrostatic, Pneumatic, and service test packs for the entire piping of plant by analyzing and deep study of different criteria such as pressure, piping class, type of fluid from Line List and other aspects that occur in the P&ID.
Familiar with all the standard symbols and studying of P&ID.
Review of all the test packages and approving them for final hydrostatic testing with the client.
Preparation of lifting study for all the equipments (vessels, columns, pumps, exchangers, etc, ).
Preparation of method statement for all the activies that includes fabrication and erection of piping, erection of tanks, hydrostatic and Pneumatic testing of piping.
Preparation of SDM (Site Design Modification) when required for change in the existing design.
Raise RFI (Request for Information) if in case of any mismatch in the approved drawings.
To look after the FCR (Field Change Request) issued from site to amend the drawings and coordination in preparing the As-Built Drawings.
Familiar with standard codes, procedures and working environment with the Contractor.
Attending the co-ordination meeting with client on review of test packs and their testing.
3. As a Mechanical Site Engineer and In-charge (replacement), Qatar Gas 3 & 4 Project.
Organize, plan, manage and complete the activities, sorting them in a sequence, with safety and quality as the primary measures, within the scheduled time.
Supervising the fabrication of all the Shop Welding Joints of Piping, Supports and other steel structure as per the approved Isometric and detail drawings in the Work Shop.
Erection Entire Piping (CS, SS, Alloy Steel, HDPE and PVC), Pipe Supports and Steel Structure as per the approved Layout drawings.
Execution of Lube oil inlet & outlet, fuel inlet & outlet piping and Testing for Power Generators.
Hydrostatic Testing of Entire Plant Piping and participate during the Inspections.
Erection of bolted Tanks for Waste Water Treatment Plant and Utility Storage Tanks.
Installation of Diesel Engine Operated Power Generators 4MVA and 22MVA.
Installation of Pumps for potable water, treated water & Fire Fighting and their shaft alignment using laser beam apparatus as well as dial indicator.
Attending the Internal meetings with the company management for completion of milestones.
Attending the safety meetings organized by the client (QATAR GAS) and deliver safety lecture on IIF (Incident Injury Free) organized by QATAR GAS.
