- Receive and review completed building permit applications; ensure information is accurate, complete, and in compliance with building and other regulations
- Route plans to appropriate staff; label and log information into permit system; set up files; track and monitor plan status; notify contractors, owners, developers, and engineers of plan status; issue building permits.

Under general supervision, plan, organize, and coordinate recruitment and selection activities for regular
and adjunct faculty, management positions, and classified staff for the District; assist in the research and
collection of applicant information; research advertising sources and prepare layout and content for
advertisements of employment opportunities (print and online); maintains department website; may serve
as a lead worker to other classified staff in the area; and perform related work as required.
o Coordinate a staff training program based on organizational and employee needs
o Use questionnaires and surveys in consultation with managers and staff to analyze training needs as they relate to the goals of the organization and work area
o Compile training manuals
o Develop training resources, which may involve preparing notes and visual displays from researched information or their own knowledge
o Arrange or conduct training courses, which may involve demonstrating equipment, operating video recorders and cameras, leading group discussions or role-playing activities and employing experts to run sessions
o Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using surveys, questionnaires, interviews and by observation, in order to plan future courses or to amend existing ones
o Obtain information on work-related external courses, prepare reports on their suitability and make recommendations on staff attendance at training courses
o Prepare, administer and conduct training assessments
o Provide career development sessions for existing staff and conduct induction sessions for new employees
o Assist in developing training interventions to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
o Support learners during training interventions
