Area of work includes:
•Etisalat Network Modernization/Swap Project \[RNC6900, SRC 6910, U2000, DBS/BTS3900 and CME\]
•Responsible for smooth Network GSM/UMTS/LTE roll out and swap.
•Scripts making for 2G/3G/LTE sites according to required BBU solution like GO, GL, GL+U, GUL.
•Assist field teams to resolve the Technical issues.
•Guide Project team for timely delivery of Network activities.

•Professional knowledge of GSM/UMTS architecture, interfaces and protocols.
•Fault management and real time monitoring of GSM/UMTS network in a fast paced, changing and challenging 24x7x365 environment.
•Multi-vendor experience with Huawei (M2000/U2000), ZTE (NetNumen), Alcatel - Lucent and Ericsson OSS RC (RBS/BTS/NodeB, BSC/RNC).
•Ensure timely escalation of all 2G/3G network alarms leading to service degradation/outage in line with SLA in place.
•Intelligent correlation of service affecting alarms with activities/faults in other domains (NSS Core, IP/MPLS, OAN, and TXN).
•Notification of critical, major and minor alarms/outages.
•Monitor and analyze network performance KPI like CSSR, DCR, TCH availability and Assignment Failures.
• Facilitate and ensure timely integration of all EMS (Huawei, ZTE, Alcatel - Lucent and Ericsson) with IBM OSS by defining policies for all service affecting alarms according to their severity (critical, major and minor).
•Correlate alarms with TSRM incidents to ensure the proper working of IBS OSS.
•Facilitate regional and OSV teams in adoption of OSS & automation functions (Tivoli and OmniBus).
•Ensure maintenance of BSS/RAN network visibility to a minimum 99% and address all OML (TDM/IP based) related issues as per guideline for network visibility management.
•Ensure that all major BSS/RAN planned/unplanned outages are conveyed properly to Customer Care.
•Facilitate internal customer teams via inbound/outbound corrective maintenance calls/Emails to support network O&M functions.
•Ensure development of technical skill set in new technologies/products being introduced in the network as a part of Mega RFQ.
Area of work includes:
•Responsible for Installing, Maintaining and Troubleshooting of countrywide established Access & TXN Backhaul network
•Professional experience in installation and configuration of end-to-end link connectivity.
•Designing of data circuits by using different solutions like Fiber Optic and Microwave with network elements like SDH/DXX nodes, routers, switches, modems and media converters.
•Provide solutions containing various technologies (Auto-failover, Link Redundancy, Bandwidth Aggregation, L2/L3 VPN)
•Provide solutions containing various Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, EBGP, and MPLS)
•Co-ordination with vendors (Alcatel-Lucent, Tainet and ZTE) for fault identification and rectification.
•Liaison with field operation teams and provides them technical support when required in case of failure or investigation.
•Coordinate and/or implement Emergency Restoration activities in outage situations.
•Installation and Configuration of SDH/DXX based multiplexers of Alcatel-Lucent, ZTE, and Tainet along with testing of E1/T1 media streams.
•Ability to test and troubleshoot PDH and SDH/SONET transmission at DS1, DS3/E3, and OC3/STM-1 levels (1+0/1 + 1).
•Monitoring of network and trouble-shooting of links (Loopback Test, BERT) on Solaris based NMS of Alcatel-Lucent and Tainet.
•Worked on G.703 (Balanced, Unbalanced), V.35, and V.24, Ethernet and ISDN (BRI, PRI) Interfaces.
•Worked on International Links in co-ordination with British Telecom and Telecom Malaysia.
•Maintain/update fault report against the outages occurred in network and follow-up all pending TT.
•Basic knowledge of electrical power theory including AC and DC systems with rectifiers, batteries and stabilizers.
