• Strategic Management: Direct the division’s development and future growth in alignment with TKG’s business objectives and goals, Compile and analyze sales’ figures, Set the sales’ targets for the division according to company’s guidelines.
• Financial Management: Determine price lists and discount rates, Provides quarterly results assessments of division’s productivity, propose the division’s budget and expenditures; follow up on payments of clients with the accounting department.
• People Management: Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships, Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance, Identify the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, and helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
• Operations Management: Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts, Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on potential contracts to the GM Sales & Distribution, Oversee sales operations, and reports to project sales and determine profitability, Prepare visiting schedule and allocate target areas, Collect customer feedback and market research, Advise clients (universities and schools) on forthcoming product developments, Represent the organization at events and demonstrations, Managing the stocks, briefing sessions and trainings on new products.
• Clients and Business partners management: Resolve customer complaints regarding sales, Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
• Establish and settle the bases of a newly opened company dealing with the ministry of Electricity in Kurdistan, Iraq by rehabilitating already existing power plants, producing energy and sell it back to the Ministry.
• Manage the personnel in the company (secretary, accountant, drivers…)
• Manage the technical requests of the subcontractors rehabilitating and doing the maintenance of the power plants by chasing all the equipment and personnel they need.
• Coordinate regularly with the Ministry and negotiate with its directors the time delays, the payments and payment conditions, new contracts, external factors altering the working flow and procedures, the risk factors management and other issues.
• Issue invoices for the Ministry and follow up on money collection each month.
• Perform lots of Public relations activities to maintain a good and professional relation with the Ministry personnel.
• Seek every Business development opportunity in the country to get a new deal from the Ministry of Electricity or any other Ministry in compliance with the scope of work of the Group after discussing it with the CEO.
• Assist the Arabic Trade Sales Manager in formulating and implementing the sales strategies plans.
• Support the Sales Manager in generating sales opportunities by identifying appropriate business targets.
• Aid the Division Manager in pricing the products according to the different markets and setting discount rate margins.
• Follow up with the Finance & Accounting department on invoicing, stock control, and sales’ reports.
• Communicate continuously with the members of the sales team for achieving monthly product sales’ targets.
• Monitor the work flow of the subordinates in accordance with the assigned schedule.
• Sell products/services to new customers in an assigned geographic area to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.
• Responsible for the Region’s forecasting and sales tracking.
• Make frequent customer visits. Follow-up on customer quotations.
• Supervise the production or implementation of marketing materials.
• Execute a wide variety of operations that involve direct mail, email broadcast campaigns, outbound calls, book fairs and events, public relations, and customer communications
• Prepare sales reports relating to sales’ revenue and activities.
• Attend and follow up on the preparations for trade shows and fairs within the designated area
• Sell spaces in the fair grounds for International companies to exhibit their products
• Manage the team and subordinates
• Build Communication skills in the team
• Perform lots of Public relations activities (with Ministries and Embassies mainly)
• Coordinate with the media to cover the exhibitions.
