Loblaw is implementing a solution that will make it compliant with Competition Bureau of Canada’s requirement of WAS price calculation for the Flyers and Shelf Labels at Store levels in POS called ELVIS and BOSS. Based on Time Test regulation, algorithm to be built in Teradata to calculate legally compliant WAS and SAVE messages. I led the project from the middle of its Strategy and Analysis phase, as permanent employee who was leading the project went on long medical leave and project came to a halt. This project is to be implemented in legacy systems operating at stores level across 1100 stores in Canada. Loblaw SDLC comprises of seven phases starting from Strategy and Analysis, going into Design phase. After gate 1 it goes into Build and Integrate phase. Test phase is followed by Implementation. OCM is initiated along implementation and project is closed with post implementation phase. Project budget is 1 million and team comprises of BSA, Solution Architect, Teradata team, ISAT team, stores team, QA team, BPA and OCM staff. Project working committee comprises of business, legal and IT stakeholders. Conducted weekly status meeting. Posted progress reports on sharepoint and updated Clarity PMIS. Approved timesheets of the project team. Baseline of the project adjusted for budget, scope and schedule.
