I am as a lab. chemist work for Bapetco at bed3 field and in our field we produced crude oil and natural gas for Bapetco which a partner with Shell my job at lab. is mainly to follow up and insure that crude oil and natural Gas which our company produced are meeting company agreement, so we via lab devices follow up crude oil (salts, Bs&W, W.C, free water, API, RVP, sulfer content, & PP) and gas(comletly natural gas analysis, water dew point, hydrocarbon dew point , H2S, CO2 ) from will heads (production ) to sales or shipping and we isure that it meet company agreement and I follow up lab guys plus share them at any problem to solve it or to complete any shortage at manpower, and follow up all devices behavior and make a periodical calibration to all, and follow up two R.O (revers osmosis ) plants to use water for human washing at the camp, and build up huge information base for all well heads by make analysis for all weekly or half monthly or monthly as it prefered, anf follow up all lub. oils at the plant, and fuel station, and follow up all sampling plus sharing in sampling specially for gas samples, follow up water flooding project with petroleum engineering ( oxygen disolved, oil in water, TSS, PH, IRON, ....ice). and follow up the lab. technetions to improve qualification for them usually to be ready for work and develop them behavior, Report all data and raised reports to lab. dep. head to take suitable action after a discussion between us,
Follow up all chemical field trials as de- emulsifier, corrosion inhibitors, biocide, or PPd and prpare a technical evaluation to sellect the winner from bidders, follow up sewage plant to keep it usually in a good condetions, Follow up all work even not related to the lab, form safe side to insure that all work carried in a safe way and stop any unsafe work.
insure crude oil and natural gas within company agreement specs, by controlling processing from producing at well heads to shipping with, specs, and prepare budget, field trials for chemicals like de-emulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors, ....ice., make calibration for all lab devices to insure results in a high accuracy and keep it usually in a good condition by continues follow up technicians at the lab, follow up new CO2 Removal Plant (CRP) which treat sour gas to be sweet gas, follow up R.O unit used for our camp staff for shower ..., follow up sewage plant to insure our environment with standard, and use out put water for irrigation for land scape, ........, control chemicals for plant at store and discuss any shortage immediately with buyers, and evaluate offers for chemicals, devices, lab glass ware, follow up field trials and evaluate results as a technical for all bidders.
