Preparing and executing audit plans for bank and its subsidiaries based on the risk assessment of each unit and entity
Analyzing financial and non-financial data with the budgeted targets and identifying root causes of variations
Conducting operational audit of all departments, support functions, business units and branches
Auditing banks credit portfolio and relationship management of business groups
Conducting end-to-end credit audits of financing portfolio, from origination to remedial management, with special emphasis on credit approval and disbursement process, adequacy of securities and collaterals, deferrals and waivers, repayments and collection of finances
Conducting regulatory compliance audits of retail & private banking branches and units to ensure branches and business units are in compliance with the regulatory requirements, AML and CFT Rules and internal policies & procedures
Checking the new account opening process with an emphasis on customer KYC and CDD aspect in the light of AML & CFT policies and highlighting non-compliance of AML and CTF regulations to the bank's senior management
Conducting audit of private banking (priority banking) to ensure the relationship management has appropriately been done to attain the objective of private banking
Audit of investment banking group (IBG) to ensure that the investment projects of IBG are carried out as per the timelines, without compromising the quality
Audit of asset management services to the IBG customers, to ensure growth in customers funds is intact
Adding values to the operations of branches, units and departments through recommending corrective actions for control lapses and gaps
Tracking outstanding audit issues with all the branches, units, departments and subsidiaries till the resolution of the issues
Monthly and quarterly reporting to Chief Internal Auditor and Board Audit Committee, which includes executive summaries, major business issues and corrective action plans and status of implementation of audit recommendations

Audit of Investment Banking Group - a subsidiary of the bank and was presented to the regulator(QFCRA)
Conducted audit of centralized operations division, which included treasury back office, trade finance, credit operations, funds transfer & remittances, clearing functions, reconciliation of general ledgers
Audited Credit Card Center, which is back office operations for processing & issuance of credit cards
Conducted GAP analysis of operational risk, business continuity planning, IT security and SWIFT departments
Conducted audit of Sharia compliance
