Hands on Knowledge and expertise:
•Vendor qualification quality documents submission for new project enquiry
•Attend initial kick-off meetings with project team to clarify the work order requirements
•Review and approve the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) based on new Project/ work order for approval
•Incoming material inspection as ISO 10474 type3.1/ EN 10204 type3.1 MTC certificates for consumables
•Make review/ request for MAR - Material Approval Request for subject to get approval for non-listed material from the project specifications.
•Request MRIR timely to client QA team and get the item to be inspected by the client QC personnel or 3rd party inspector.
•Foundations and structure accuracy has been controlled and reported with measuring 3D Total Station
•Initiate pre-qualification of welding requirements before production welds like PQR, pWPS, wPQT based on base metal classifications with respect to ASME Sec IX and additional requirements denoted in client specifications for preheating and PWHT.
•Direction to the welding foremen to select efficient welder in place for critical jobs by weekly welder record
•Conduct awareness secessions to the Welders about the client’s project welding requirements to reduce the repair rate
•Selection of welding electrode as per applicable code, i.e. ASME Sec II Dev.3 or with respect to client approval
•Welder/ welding machine has to be evaluated the repair rate through daily/ weekly performance report
•Prepare and submit procedures for get approve NDE methods to adhere with clients comment and notes MT/PT, RT, UT, PMI as per ASME Sec V and in addition with client requirements.
•For RT plan schedule for test taken as per project urgency and NDT weekly percentage
•Proper allocation for the source storage in shop or field.
•Ferrite Analysis report for Austenitic and Duplex/ Super Duplex materials, ferrite number range has to be confirmed with client.
•Prepare and submit for getting approval for Hydro/ Pneumatic/ Leak test/ Settlement test/ Vaccum Box test procedure with client comments and notes
•Pickling and passivation to be performed as per approved method statement and Risk Assessment by client for its chemical usage.
•Review/ Prepare weld map for all weld joints performed for production joints individual GA and sub detail drawings. Also, for piping for every ISO drawing wise.
•Get up-to-date information of erection, fit-up, welding, NDE results and other project specific requirements and got signed by client/ 3rd party inspectors.
•Control the daily, weekly, monthly welder performance, welding report to the client as per project specification.
•Make in line with production joints and qc reported fit up, welding and other inspection reports in time for monthly claims
•Get monitor the resources like NDT subcontract and painting clearance to make in-time project delivery
•QC Dossier format to get approve by client and bring along all signed reports and approved control copy in the dossier file in original and e-format.
•Conduct in-house meetings for weekly, monthly project status with QC team
•Report project qc status to higher management during weekly/ monthly meeting
