As an assistant operation engineer at EPCL,
I participated in commissioning in new equipments installed, punch listing, pre start-up and start up and shut-down activities of the above mentioned equipment.
My responsibilities includes
Monitor and record the plant parameters
Shift handover/take over
Ensure that jobs are being performed in safe way
Safe start-up, shutdown and emergency handling
Communication of all activities with supervisor and other interfaces
Maintain own work area in safe, clean and tidy condition
Carry out plant samples analysis to maintain the chemistry of plant within limits
Preparation of mandatory procedures of areas
Monitoring and adjusting chemicals injection equipment
Audit of all safety critical devices.
Being a D-Level captain, it was also my responsibility to arrange weekly safety meeting with shift members and to submit D-Level report to safety department.
Being a Training captain, it was also my responsibility to conduct Core technical and safety trainings as per plan shared by Training Department and to submit the attendence and feedback form for the continous improvement in training practices. Attend the DTC meetings with manager of units and training manager with proposals of betterment in training practices and tools.
