Responsible to produce 3G Transmission Network plan & design on top of existing 2G and WiMax services on a nationwide scale in IRAQ.
• Leading a team to design end-to-end 3G Compliant Transmission Network Solutions including Optical, IP, MW & VAST infrastructure for 18 Governorates in Iraq
• As technical lead on transmission design projects, co-ordinate activities across the different design teams, and working closely with the project management function
• Plan future network growth and topologies within the Business & Budgetary priorities (CAPEX and OPEX)

• Responsible to generate & track 2011-12 ongoing Transmission rollout plans

• Manage vendors (NSN & Huawei) for ongoing and upcoming activities related to next deployment and expansions.
• Form & update Network database for existing & plan Transmission Network.
• Involve to prepare and assess Bidding process ( RFPs, RFQs) for transmission related equipment and services

• Promote knowledge sharing through presentations, technical briefings & arrange training for staff to enhance skills according to existing and upcoming Network requirements.
Responsible to produce 3G Transmission Network design on top of existing 2G and WiMax services on a nationwide scale in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
• Design end-to-end Transmission access & backhaul solution for 3G readiness network. so that 3G traffic can be carried along with 2G and WiMax traffic.
• Study and understand existing (2G, WiMax and ongoing Rollout plans) Transmission Access and backhaul infrastructure
• Study and Design existing and new transmission paths per Node B - RNC, ensure no bottlenecks on the way, and resolve if any.
• Prepared guidelines and solution for Synchronization and DCN
• Prepared upgrade solution for Transmission fiber Backhaul network to accommodate upcoming Interco traffic.
• Deliver traffic connectivity matrix per site/node, describing TDM/ETH configuration and Interfaces (E1, STM1, FE, and GE).
• Specify locations of Aggregation Nodes in b/w Node B’s & RNC’s, taking into consideration existing Microwave & Fiber network topologies
• Dimension new links and required capacity upgrades for existing links (Inc. Harris Micro star & True point, NEC PasoV.4, + & Neo, Huawei RTN 610, 620, 650, and Huawei Mux OSN 1500, 2500, 3500 & metro1000), so it can handle all aggregated traffic b/w Node B’s, RNC’s, MGWs & inter core traffic.
• Deliver new and upgrade link’s BOQs, BOM and RFQ to demand Quotes and technical solutions from Venders
• Evaluate vendor’s response and create Technical evaluation report for Management for selection.
• Weekly meeting with customer to update project progress & approvals on deliverables
• Deliver training to customer to understand 3G Network requirements and standards under Transmission scope and discussed existing and future upgrades.
• Received signed Provisional Acceptance on complete design project.
Responsible to produce Nationwide Transmission plans (incl. network design, CAPEX forecast, procurement timeline and rollout plans) to support radio and core future expansions.
