Job Responsibilities:
• Identification of formation cuttings, formation tops and correlation
• Evaluation of oil and gas shows.
• Supervision of mud logging and wire line logging
• Prepare composite logs and daily geological report.
• Quick look interpretation of well logs and to identify productive zones.
• Take part in drilling operational meetings.
Pressure/Data Engineer:
Job Responsibilities:
• Acquisition, monitor and interpretation of drilling data and reporting
• Identification and classification of samples, marking Formation tops, oil show description.
• Core handling, assist company man in cementing job, calculate cement volumes.
• Assist company man in providing kick controls, prepare kill sheet.
• Determine changes in the formation pressure regime through the use of drilling exponents, hole behavior, drilled cuttings or drilling fluid and reports accordingly.
• Engineering hydraulics optimization and drilling parameters optimization.
• Plan, direct and supervise the activities of assigned Company/contractor personnel.
• Direct and manage initial rig up of unit at the well site at the start of well.
• Training of new hires
• Worked in Bhit, Bhadra and Kadanwari fields of ENI Pakistan Ltd, Makori and Manzalai field (TAL block) of MOL Pakistan LTD, Zamzama field of BHP Billiton.
SLS & Coring Coordinator:
Worked as SLS & Coring Coordinator at Baker Hughes Islamabad office for a period of six months in 2014.
