QA QC ENGINEER
ROSEWOOD TOWER DOHA LUSAIL MARINA MIX 12F (Residential & Hotel) Preparation of ITP, Project material inspection plans, quality dossier and site inspection plans for projects in compliance with project specification, QCS 2014, and other standards.
Coordinating performance and installation mockup inspections with main contractor/consultant as per project requirements. Ensuring all approvals are obtained for materials and allied activities prior to start of installation works.
Monitoring site installation works to ensure compliance with approved project specifications and shop drawings.
Coordinating inspection with client or main contractor for work and material inspection as per approved ITP.
Coordinating various third-party site/inspection tests such as water and air penetrations, pull out tests, bolt tightening etc. as per project specifications and ITP. Monitoring calibration and testing of instruments used for site and factory activities regular intervals.
Renewal of welding certification of welders and coordinating welding test with TPI as per different project specification requirements.
Follow up with codes and standard in aluminum facades and allied architectural works. Review of test reports, factory inspection reports, weld reports and other test certificates.
Creating and reviewing controls needed for data accumulation and reporting system. Taking part in pricing and project profitability studies.
To Attend project management meetings and to present project status and breakdown reports to the management and respective dept.
Analyzing actual manufacturing cost & preparing periodic management reports comparing standard cost to actual production cost
Suggestions for the workflow guidelines to reduce errors in manufacturing
installation Processes. To prepare assessment/reports of project budgets, cost projections & Project profitability.
Representing as management representative by Conducting internal & external ISO AUDIT 9001:2015 (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) ISO 45001:2018 (OHSMS).

Responsibilities
Ensuring the work on site is as per the Approved Shop drawings and notifying any Changes as per site conditions to project engineer and updating the same in AS- Built drawing.
Providing material request to procurement department and maintaining record of delivery notes and timely submission of the involves for the same to office management. Acquiring daily progress report from site supervisor or foreman and analyzing it and making possible remarks before updating to project engineer/manager.
Closely monitoring site activities to ensure quality of work.
Active involvement in weekly meetings with the Main Contractor, Consultant & Client. Also attending internal meetings with P.E & PM to solve critical issues.
Coordinating with other MEP services, sub-contractors to ensure proper installations. Ensuring all work personnel has attended safety orientation and having proper PPEs prior to work on site.
Obtaining daily weekly and monthly reports from subordinates & making possible remarks and presenting to PM.
Studying the tender documents \[IFC Drawings, Project specifications\] & taking out he quantity for AC system, Ventilation System, Domestic Water Supply System, Storm Water System, Drainage system.
Sending Inquiries to the respective material suppliers and acquiring their best Offers in terms of Price, Modes of payment, Delivery of the material.
Preparing “Quotation Comparison Sheets” for all the materials.
Studying and ensuring the work on site as per the shop drawings and guiding the Supervisor.
Arranging Material Submittals by constant follow up with suppliers via clear and Effective communication to avoid any error. Preparing daily reports in assistance of site engineer. Site supervision of duct work fabrication and installation as per Approved drawing. Duct designing following SMACNA-2. DW-144 codes.
Air Conditioning Cooling & Heating Load Calculations following ASHRAE Codes and Submitting for Project Engineer review and comment.
Assisting Senior engineer and projects manager in daily and weekly site activities Closely monitoring site activities to ensure quality of work happening as per the standards.
