Responsibilities:
Functional:
• Overseeing the execution of work according to preset work schedules, augmenting activities of staff management, ensuring all operations are carried out in compliance with health, safety and quality control systems.
• Directing and coordinating all production activities, assisting in process optimization, troubleshooting and de-bottlenecking of various procedures.
• Developing and implementing creative, proactive operations and process solutions in collaboration with production objectives.
• Performing comprehensive inventory management, calibrating production schedule and ensuring projects are completed within resource constraints and envisaged time frames.
• Executed periodic inspections of underground and above ground pipelines to ensure safe operations.
• Coordinating tank gauging after receipt, transfer and blends in addition to overseeing the work out of the product receipt out turn and maintaining necessary documentation.
Responsible for safe, smooth, efficient operation of refinery units like NHT, CDU, CCR, SRU, LPG processing.
To issue PTW, Coordinate with, maintenance, safety, projects, inspection Dept. Trouble shooting.
Refinery operations, PTW issuer,
Steering initiatives towards improving plant (Refinery) process and production.
Ensuring smooth & efficient operation of the refinery & to ensure PTW implementation during maintenance.
Conducting feasibility studies concentrating on maximizing plant & terminal capacity, efficiency and safety; identifying means of improving the plant & terminal and creating process engineering design to implement an economical operation. Maintaining & controlling shift, shift logs, reporting to operations manager
Participating in maintenance / quality / safety planning meetings plus improvement meetings.
Liaise with the Inspection Division to follow-up on field troubleshooting operations and ensure that all related activities are in accordance with process engineering principles and industry best practices.
Participate actively in troubleshooting activities within the unit of assignment, research and develop solutions to accommodate critical troubleshot problems and provide ongoing feedback to the Maintenance Team.
Organizing daily meeting with the operators and team leaders on daily instructions, production expectations and any operational problems. Carrying out brainstorming to address such issues.
Liaising with the engineering team in designing and implementing plant modification from start up to transitioning, continuous monitoring plus optimization phase plus related activities.
Coordinating with Plant Maintenance and Technical Personnel for the optimization of facilities in the plant & terminal including its major or minor field modifications.
