Responsibilities:
- Responsible for systems configuration, administration and troubleshooting of server related problems.
- Managing the Active Directory Services in Windows 2008 Server environment.
- Managing File and Print Servers with DFS replication on multiple sites.
- Configured Fortigate 110C for WAN link failover and load balancing.
- Established site to site IPSec VPN (Hub-Spoke) with multiple remote offices using Fortigate 110C, which enabled us to extend our Active Directory infrastructure to other offices.
- Responsible for data/emails backup and restoration in SC Islamabad Office.
- Configured and managed MS System Center Data Protection Manager 2010 with HP LTO 2 tape Autoloader to take Disk-Disk and Disk-Tape backup of Domain Controllers, File & Print Servers and SharePoint 2010 Server, according to a defined schedule.
- Configured and managed a SharePoint 2010 Enterprise farm, which is hosting our intranet portal and electronic approval system.
- Managed onsite MS Exchange 2003Server.
- Providing helpdesk support to staff on day to day basis, for hardware, software and associated devices.
- Installs, configures, and maintains systems’ operations to ensure high reliability and optimal availability of applications and network resources.
- Responsible for installing and maintaining operating systems and other standard applications on all user systems as SC security policy.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation of all system architecture, configurations of Firewalls, including network diagrams and step by step configuration details.
- Assist Sr. IT Manager and work as a backup in network administration and troubleshooting.
- ICT focal person while responding for emergencies and disasters.
- Conducting orientations about ICT P&P and trainings to the staff for the use of software.
- Develop custom software for the concerned departments/office on need basis and to provide support.
