• Controlling the quality of work as per project specifications and engineering standards (SAES, ASTM, ACI, ).
• Concrete work, formwork, and earthwork, including anchor bolt work, asphalt, and pavement work.
• Tracking and recording RFI and work progress on-site.
• Inspecting internally first before calling PID for external inspection.
• Conducting field tests with third parties.
• Preparing RFIs (Request for Inspection) for all civil activities.
• Conducting surveillance inspections of all ongoing civil activities at the project site as per approved ITP.
• Coordinating with construction engineers, PMT, and PID for activity inspections and client approvals.
• Conducting Toolbox meetings to properly implement project specifications.
• Controlling all the documents related to the inspections.
• Issuing INCRs for any non-conformance and assisting in developing corrective actions.
• Conducting root cause analysis for any quality failures and developing preventive measures to avoid
recurrence.
• Ensuring ongoing activities comply with approved project IFC drawings, standards, and method statements,
and conducting quality Toolbox meetings for awareness of the construction team.
• Ensuring that all construction work adheres to project plans, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Issuing proactive notifications prior to starting an activity.
• Making daily site observations/surveillance reports.
• Preparing and submitting concrete tests, backfilling, excavation, etc., reports to the consultant for review and
approval.
• Coordinating with Site Laboratory and Independent Testing Agencies to ensure that all requisite tests as per
project specifications are conducted and the reporting is properly done.
