• Working as a shutdown supervisor Centralized control room for Safe shut down and Start-up of plant Defrosting the various systems, Fuel Gas System, Flare gas system
• Reviewed Start-up procedures, check compliance with Asset procedures/standards.
• Coordinate with Construction team during Start-Up & Shut-down phase.
• Contributed to preparation and implementation of Start-Up & Shut-down procedures, Isolations, Spading, Rescue plans, standards, and operating manuals and to coordinate/support execution of Start-Up & Shut-down activities by Asset Area Operations Teams and Contractors.
• Executed daily Shut-down& Start-Up plan, ensured manpower availability to carry out tasks according to plan.
• Assisted in Pre Start-up Audit preparations. Ensured compliance/alignment with Operations Philosophies, contribute to preparation of Operational Plans.
• Reviewed Start-up procedures, check compliance with Asset procedures/standards. Reviewed Asset Work Instructions/Procedures.
• Coordinated and supported operations with functional and performance testing of systems and equipment during SAT and Start-Up.
• Tightness Testing, Air Blows, Safe Fluid Testing, and Unit Operations Testing.
• Ensuring all safety procedures and policies are adhered to for all assigned systems under care, custody and control of the Start-up Team.
Project Leader :Pre commissioning /commissioning at Sadara chemical company utility power and infra structure / inter connecting facility -Sadara Project, Jubail industrial city, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Responsibilities: Acting as a commissioning Engineer and main responsibilities has been
•Organizing, assigning and supervising activities in collaboration with process and utility superintendents of a team of 5 supervisors and 15 operators; in charge with this activities in case the superintends are not available at site. Review and update pre commissioning plan accordingly with QA/QC system and client standards.
•Developing and preparation of pre commissioning system and detailed procedures for flushing, blowing, lube oil systems flushing, chemical cleaning /pickling of process lines of compressors, leak test, inerting etc, accordingly with client standards and comments: submitted to review, comments and approval to comm. manager and client organization :Reinstatement procedure for systems.
•Develop and prepare inspection and test reports for pre commissioning activities and forwarding to comm. manager and QA/QC manager for review, comments approval and integration in QA/QC plan for pre commissioning and commissioning. Planning and scheduling of activities in collaboration with construction contractor designated personnel, estimation of man power equipments and material necessary for each activity. Forwarding to management and to construction contractor.
•Pre commissioning activities for cold section of ethylene units such as dryers and of reactor for acetylene conversion filling with mol sieve and catalyst.
•Blowing, reinstatement of systems, dry out, leak test inertsation of all cold section, filling of refrigerant systems with propylene and ethylene.pre commissioning activities for butene -1 such as blowing, flushing, dry out, load of catalyst, chemicals.
•Start up of unit, run test, performance test.
Project engineer : Pre commissioning/commissioning
•Pre commissioning activities such as flushing, blowing, L.O system flushing for air compressors, boilers pickling and passivation reinstatement of systems. Participate in punching of systems and checking of reinstatement.
•Participate in HAZOP, JSA analysis organized by the process department for revamping and /or change of existing equipment skid with new one.
•DCS loop checking, Performed startup, performance test
