•Ensuring SOPs are adhered to in all equipment controls
•Setting KPIs and making sure are achieved
•Ensuring occupation health and safety rules of the equipment and personnel are upto date

•Carrying corrective and preventive maintenance during canline, crowns, presses, bullpak, printing operations
•Machine shop work on lathe, shapers, millers, survicegriders, welding and fabrication
•Troubleshooting and compiling comprehensive equipment status report egvees, spurs, wrinkle, overlaps, double seams etc
•Overhauling equipment(seamers and can makingequipments and relevant changeovers)
•Writing daily shift production reports and continuous equipment monitoring performance report
•A can line team leader championing the whole team to attain daily set production targets and key performance indicators(K P Is)
•Ensuring safety both equipmentandpersonnel are safe and ready to use
•Servicing of jet printers and calibration for the rightaccuracy
of I.S.O. 22000 Standards
•Maintenance planning
•Handling mechanical breakdowns
•Reporting to Production Manager
•Minimizing line spoilage
DUTIES
•Handling major mechanical breakdown and reporting to Engineering foreman (spinning department)
•Planning of maintenance schedules for production machinery ( Auto-corner, drawframes, speedframes, autocoro and carding machines).
•Ensure set standards mechanically are achieved in all production stages.
•If need be engage in shift work and rotate even in night shift.
