Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for planning, controlling, and monitoring quality-related activities in accordance
with QMS.
• Prepare and review procedures before submitting to the client for review and approval.
• Monitor and close NCR, LBE, or any kind of violation by evaluating root cause &
implementing corrective and preventive action.
• Review welder certifications and monitor quality programs to ensure welder certifications
and performance are being maintained.
• Conduct root cause analysis on weld repair, identify and implement corrective action and
preventive measures.
• Conduct Pre-welding, In-process and Post Welding Inspection on pipes and structures in
accordance with project specifications.
• Conduct welder performance and welding procedure qualification records reviews.
• Conduct site surveillance to ensure that welding equipment like welding machines and
portable ovens are calibrated.
• Ensure that every welding activity is properly implemented as per approved WPS and PQR.
• Verify that PMI Test results are within the range of the material specification.
• Maintain quality inspection documents /checklists as per approved Saudi Aramci Test and
Inspection Plan

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Witness Contractor activities based on the SATIP, approved ITP, and Procedures
• Conduct welder performance and welding procedure qualification records reviews.
• Perform and/or monitor Welding and Piping Inspection.
• Conduct site surveillance to ensure that welding equipment like welding machines and
portable ovens are calibrated.
• Perform pre-welding, in-process and post welding inspection on pipes and structures.
• Conduct inspection/surveillance on the preservation of valves and pipe spools.
• Perform line checking to ensure that the line is ready for hydro test. Ensure the line is
internally clean before the hydro test.
• Review Test Package to ensure that RFIs and other inspection documents are complete for
the line to be tested.
• Witness hydrostatic and/or pneumatic tests on static equipment which includes the review
of Hydrostatic, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams as well a Safety Instruction Sheets to
ensure that the correct pressure is used, the system is isolated properly, and that relief
valves are properly set, and installed.
• Conduct inspection/surveillance on buried metallic pipes to ensure that the line is ready for
backfilling.
• Report Quality Notifications and closed-out iNCR, Logbook entries as well as violations
through the Saudi Aramco EPM Portal.
• Attend Weekly Quality Meetings and Monthly Safety Meetings.

• Conversant with the company QHSE procedures & policies and ensure that everyone on the
site observes and implements them.
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams (Mechanical, Welding, Piping, Coating, as well as E&I).
• Monitoring and implementation of QMS Procedures, PQP, ITP & method statements, and
reporting deviations from management system / contractual requirements of the projects.
• Verifying that all necessary inspections and tests, as required by the project and statutory
regulations, are carried out and appropriate records are updated and maintained.
• Coordination with clients / third parties, in accordance with approved ITP, for agreed
witness inspections & tests.
• Liaison with client representatives concerning quality matters on site.
• Identifying near misses and nonconformities in materials, products, processes, and
procedures and reporting the near miss/nonconformities in the near miss/non-conformity
report.
• Verification of the implementation of corrective & preventive actions against
nonconformities and reporting results to line managers.
• Manage and track quality metrics and provide Clients with monthly QA/QC program
updates.
• Liaison with the Project Quality Manager for all aspects of quality.
• Lead, Manage, and mentor the Quality team members to ensure code compliance and
enforcement of quality procedures.
• Assist and provide leadership in developing robust QA/QC processes and standards to
enable clients successful project completion.

• Prepare and present reports that communicate details to everyone involved in the
inspection process.
• Closely monitor the construction process by doing daily surveillance to ensure that the work
in-progress is meeting the quality requirements.
• Prepare pWPS to be used for Procedure Qualification Test to be witnessed by a third party.
• Witness Procedure Qualification Test together with Third Party Inspector.
• Prepare WPS according to Procedure Qualification Record.
• Witness Welders Qualification Test together with Third Party Inspector
• Review of RT Films generated by Third Party.
• Prepare Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and QC Dossiers for clients review and approval prior
to start of work.
• Performing receiving inspection of material prior to delivery at the construction site.
• Ensure that fit-up gap and dimensions are acceptable prior to release for full welding.
• Ensure that every welding activity is properly implemented as per approved WPS and PQR.
• Verify that PMI Test results are within the range of the material specification.
• Verify that Pre-Heat and PWHT are conducted in accordance with the specific requirements.
• Ensure that Hardness Test values are within acceptable limits.
• Inspection of Hydrotest on pipe spools to assure leak tightness and integrity of weldment.
• Punch lists any discrepancies in completed work.
• Ensure proper and calibrated relief valve and gauges are used as per client procedures.
• Ensure that any modification is reviewed and is properly controlled and documented.
• Prepare and initiate all types of Testing Equipment for Calibration & Popping tests of all
kinds of Pressure Safety Valves (PSV).

• Check and inspect rotating equipment and/or components to ensure they meet project
requirements.
• Check mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for proper alignment and functioning.
• Ensure the levelness of the foundation for the equipment (Static or Rotating) before
installation.
• Witness the leveling of the Equipment and ensure that the levelness is of the acceptable
range of client standards and procedures.
• Witness the alignment of the Pump to the motor and ensure the proper alignment.
• Ensure proper and calibrated tools and gauges are used as per client procedures.
• Prepare Inspection reports and submit them for documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure the proper orientation and correct spools dimensions before delivery at the site.
• Inspection of fit-up (proper gap, alignment, levelness, and plumpness) prior to full welding.
• Ensure the proper orientation of spools given from its drawing.
• Endorse the fit-up joint for pre-heating (if low temp.).
• In-process and final inspection of weld joint prior to endorsement for PWHT (if required.).
• Verify that PWHT has been done satisfactorily (if required).
• Conduct final inspection of welded spools (alignment, levelness, and plumpness).
• Checking the condition and storage of filler metals.
• Checking the condition, calibration, and adequacy of equipment being used.
• Check welding procedure and welder qualifications.
• Conduct visual inspection during and after welding as per approved WPS requirements.
• Endorse joint for MPI(magnetic particle inspection) and PMI(positive material identification)
• Line checking, ensuring the completeness of the line prior to endorsement of test package
for the hydro test.
• Inspection of PRV (pressure relief valve) alignment and ensure the correct PRV is installed.
• Witness Hydrotest and visual inspection with the client and third party.
• Ensure the completeness of the test package after the reinstatement prior to endorsement
for pre-mechanical commissioning.
• Maintain quality inspection documents /records as per approved plan, ITP, and project
specifications.

• Perform welders pre-qualification test.
• Checking the condition and storage of filler metals.
• Checking welding procedure and welder qualifications.

QC Engr. (On-Site)
• Ensure the proper orientation of spools given from its drawing.
• In-process and final inspection of the weld joint.
• Conduct final inspection of welded spools.
• Ensure the proper orientation of spools given from its drawing.
• Conduct visual inspection during and after welding as per approved WPS
requirement.
• Endorsement of joints to NDT technician subject for RT.
• Conduct dye penetrant test on weld joints of small bores.
• Line checking, ensuring the completeness of the line prior to endorsement of test
package for the hydro test.
• Review of documents (welding reports and traceability)
