Éducation

Master, International Trade Relations
  • à International University in Geneva
  • juillet 2011

I acquired in 2011 a Masters Degree in International Trade Relations from the International University in Geneva (IUG). My final GPA is 3.96 which granted me the SUMMA CUM LAUDE honors. I was also awarded a scholarship in this university due to my previous academic and non academic achievements. It was during my studies that I had an opportunity to live in Switzerland for a year and a half, which exposed me to the international business environment. Living in Geneva, a small yet cosmopolitan city in Switzerland, as well as doing internships at international organizations such as the International Trade Center and UNCTAD/United Nations has influenced me interpersonally. The knowledge and experience obtained at UNCTAD helped me to undertake a study, with other colleagues, about private international cartels in Latin America. This paper was published and presented in Bogota, Colombia at the COMPAL Forum 2011. Furthermore, due to my passion for trade and eagerness to learn more about trade related subjects, I was invited to collaborate in the writting and publication of the book "Best Trade Promotion Strategies". This book was written by Dr. Claude Cellich (Vicepresident IUG) and Dr. Michael Borgeon (Prof. IUG).

Baccalauréat, International Business
  • à Instituto Tecnològico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey
  • décembre 2006

I graduated from business school in December 2006 from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Estado de México Campus. My degree focuses on “International Business and Trade”. During my studies, I had the chance to study in Germany at the Handelshochschule Leipzig for 2 semesters in order to expand my education and vision. The experience of living in such sharp contrast to my life in Mexico City has given me a broader view of the world and the ability to adapt to a different culture, which every international professional must possess. I also enrolled myself in the profesional experience program which allowed me to study and work as an intern at a private company at the same time. This program gave me the opportunity to apply my academic knowledge and train myself in the daily activities of an exporting company. Thanks to the knowledge I obtained in Europe and at my university in Mexico, I have worked in my country in the fields of international trade, international negotiations and market research to export and import goods.
