Control a variety of power-generation equipment and machinery during normal operation using SCADA,
• To Operate & Monitor large tonnage centrifugal liquid chillers & HVAC equipments at the Emaar District Cooling Plant
•Execute the preventive maintenance tasks within the stipulated timeframe.
• Perform all the corrective maintenance job requests within the prescribed timeframe.
•Check & Report troubles & unusual events at the EDC plants in order to avoid any possible break downs.
•To be a crew member on emergencies in the event of fire or flood and to perform the stipulated role assigned
•To be worked in tandem with the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor & the EDC plant maintenance team members so as to attain the targeted goals.
•To be committed with contributing cost effective measures so as to reduce the operational expenditure to be minimal.
•. To assist & guide all the external contractors whenever required.
•To prepare & keep all the related log books & reports including the daily utilities & consumptions.
•o make sure that the EDC plant rooms are clean & tidy always.
Collect, scan and upload documents following set procedure
•Ensure all technical documents, such as reports, drawings and blueprints, are collected and registered in system
•Use Smart Solve Document Management for everyday operations, maintenance and quality control
•Notify personnel of updated document versions and how to access them
Print and distribute documents as necessary
•Work with documents and records across various departments, including human resources, marketing and construction\

•Prepares and finalizes purchase orders, requisitions, change orders, and/or other related paperwork.
•Supervises and participates in the procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment.
•Prepares and disseminates a variety of reports and/or information related to available resources and inventory availability.
•Assists with budget preparation and administration; prepares cost estimates for budget recommendations; submits justifications for budget items; monitors and controls expenditures.

•Performs audits of procurement, financial, and/or accounts payable obligations; validates the proper coding of purchases.

Electrical Maintenance
•Installs and repairs electrical systems, and electrical components&equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
•Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, such as motor controls, electrical wirings following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and voltage tester.
•Connects power supply wires to equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints, using hand tools and test equipment.
Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand tools.
•Tests malfunctioning, using test equipment, and discusses malfunction with other maintenance workers, such as MACHINE REPAIRER, MAINTENANCE and TOOL MAKER, MAINTENANCE, to diagnose malfunction.
•Replaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices, using hand tools.
•Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
