OPERATIONS East, in his capacity as the Regional Head East FMS. Effective April 2014 Avijit was
designated as VICE PRESIDENT FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES & REGIONAL HEAD Eastern
India of Knight Frank Property Services Pvt. Ltd and his Team Strength grew to almost 2000 staff,
including vendor resources.
Responsibilities of a Regional Head Facilities Management Service of an International Property
Consultant, calls for providing a professional service, to support the client organization fully in
delivery of its core business activities and achieve an improved and innovative service through
constant performance monitoring.
It demands a high degree of professional acumen to STRATEGIZE SERVICE POLICIES & PLANS
flowing from clients’ long term goals by optimize use of resources - manpower, property &
technology and Anticipate long term replacements and changes and Contingent planning. Avijit
ensured complaint free facilities management, Achieving Zero customer complaints and Adding
value by saving cost / efforts, put by the client.
Avijit’ s Team till June 2012, managed approximately 275 sites in EASTERN INDIA covering
almost 17 LAKH SQUARE FEET, of various Financial Institutions & Developers, stretching from
Manipur in North East India to Chhattisgarh in West India and from Sikkim in North India to Port
Blair in South. The team was responsible for providing Facilities & Administrative support to
organizations like Deutsche Bank, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, Max Bupa, Edelweiss Securities,
TATA Capital and many renowned Developers like TATA Housing, Rungta Group, Mani Group in
the Region.
During the same period in SOUTHERN INDIA, Avijit in his dual role as DGM Operations Pan India
Accounts, was responsible for managing premises of Pan India Clients in all the Four Southern
states and had an equal number of sites in the Region with a total of over 15 LAKH SQUARE FEET
OPERATIONAL AREA directly under his command in India.
Avijit, besides his core competency, as the Regional Head Facilities Management, of the
organization was also instrumental in SETTING UP AND OPENING Knight Frank’s office in the
“City of Joy”, Kolkata in Eastern India, in the year 2011 and being the SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
AND FUNCTIONAL HEAD of the region is responsible for the CORPORATE MANAGEMENT of
Knight Frank Kolkata office. His area of responsibility includes recruitment, confirmation,
performance management, goal setting, annual appraisals increment, transfer, and staff
welfare. Being the Profit Centre Head he is responsible for the P&L of the Region, preparation of
Regional Financial Budget, Admin Budget, Procurement, assessment & evaluation of Vendors
and certifying of vendor bills. Organizing meetings with various consultants, , MIS, Interaction
with customers and customer focus. He is authorized to engage and give instructions to
Advocate/Counsel, sign affirm, swear, verify and/or re-verify all plaints, written statements,

counter claims, affidavits, pleadings, petitions in respect to legal suits, arbitrations and
conciliation proceedings. Negotiation, signing and execution of leave and license agreements
and other documents in respect of the premises to be taken up for setting up of office/s.
Applying for and obtaining Shop and Establishment licenses/ Trade Licenses or any other
licenses/permits required under regulation of State Government, Local Authority or any other
autonomous body. Applying and obtaining license/ labor license under Contract Labor
(Regulation and Abolition) Act 1970 and sign all documents for the aforesaid purpose. Statutory
compliances under Provident Fund Act, Employees State Insurance Corporation Act, Professional
Tax Act, Labor Compliances, etc.

AND STATUTORY COMPLIANCE related matters and is able to inspire individuals to strive
towards even higher level of Achievements. Having thorough knowledge in all the
ADMINISTRATIVE, OPERATIONAL & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT aspects of INTEGRATED FACILITIES
