Supervision / Monitoring of electrical works of different projects at different locations during October 2005 to DECEMBER 2012.
This includes
Study of drawings, prepare field change note in view of site constructability. Also prepare BOQ with technical specifications to raise material requisition for project materials & consumables.
Get the approval of material & Vendors from client / consultant and support purchase department in procurement of materials as per project specifications.
Prepare scope of work & technical terms to raise inquiry, support purchase department in selection of subcontractor for particular activity.
Coordination with departments of other discipline, client & consultant to maintain progress at site to meet project schedule, quality of work and safety norms.
A Turnkey Project, mainly comprising Installation of Pumping stations and electrical substation each at 5 different locations with in 30 km of distances to lift and deliver water to Surendranagar from Saurashtra branch canal of main Narmada canal.
I was mainly looking after all electrical works involving receiving 11 KV power through bus duct from GEB. Installation of 11 KV SWBD, 11/0.415 KV Station Transformer, LV SWBD and other associated electrical works.
As a second in command I was also holding a GENERAL POWER OF ATTORNEY to sign letters, invoices, indemnity bond, material receipts, and commercial documents and was making correspondence with client related to the projects.

Monitoring electrical Work involving installation, Testing and commissioning of 6X2000 KVA. 11/0.433 KV Transformers and associated sub station work for panel line expansion work.
Monitoring of work and approving invoices of sub contractor.
Worked as Electrical sub contractor for companies like Jyoti Ltd. Siemens, Re-Union, Thermax, Kirloskar Bros Ltd. etc. Executed electrical projects including detail engineering, supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of electrical equipments for M/s. NDDB, Balaram Cement, Saurashtra Cement & Chemicals, Modern Petrofils, Sterling Tea & Industries Ltd, GAIL etc.
Testing of 11KV and 33KV panels, including Scheme checking, Relay testing, HV testing of panels, etc at works.
Supervision of installation of Elect. Equipment at site (GNVFC 1979 TO 1981) Reporting to Resident Engineer.
Performed duties as site-in charge, Scheduling, planning and monitoring the progress of site, passing bills of contractors, etc. reporting to manager, (foundry Jyoti Ltd. Halol 1982-83)
Performed duties as Project Engineer / Commissioning Engineer from Baroda office, planning, scheduling and monitoring progress of different sites, taking reports from different site engineers and co-ordination work. Visited various sites for testing and commissioning of HT/LT sub station equipments of cement factory, irrigation projects and Metro railways. Dairy projects, 132 KV Transmission line at Bharat pur- Pokhra-Nepal (1983-1986 reporting contract Manager/Chief Engineer).
