-Understand the list of stores correctly and well, and adhere to the application of its provisions, controls and procedures in implementing and documenting all warehouse operations from receiving, adding, disbursing, inventory and transfer.
- Follow-up and supervision of the company's stores, its contents, operations and employees, and to ensure the correct application of its systems and regulations, and to verify the efficiency of its operation and its achievement of its basic functions and objectives.
- Supervising the preservation of all materials and items in the warehouse from damage, loss, theft, fire, drowning and obsolescence, and maintaining the cleanliness, safety and arrangement of the stores themselves and their equipment and supplies.
- Coordination with the Purchasing Department in order to replace materials and products in the appropriate quantities and at the right time in order to meet the needs of customers and achieve the efficiency of the storage process.
- Participate in the work of the technical inspection committees and receive the purchased materials that will be entered into the warehouse, by examining the incoming materials carefully and making sure that they are free of damage and conform to them in terms of quantity, type and specifications, and the company’s technical expertise can be sought if necessary.
- Studying and analyzing the rates of movement and circulation of stored materials and items, determining the appropriate purchase periods, and following up on updating the levels of the upper and lower limits of materials and items in the light of the study.
- Preparing plans and recommendations regarding stagnant or damaged materials, or whose period is nearing expiry, and submitting them to the direct manager.
- Supervising the audit of computer extracts related to the entry and exit of materials in warehouses in terms of value and quantity, and to ensure their safety and compliance with invoices.
- Planning and following up the implementation of materials coding works and procedures, with the aim of implementing an integrated system for materials information in the computer, coordinating with the Information Technology Department in this regard, and following up on requests to develop the necessary programs.
- Managing transportation and delivery services, equipment and fleet, and verifying their integration with warehouse operations in order to maintain the security, safety and balances of products.
- Supervising the application of security, safety, firefighting and risk prevention systems to protect workers and protect the store and the materials and items stored there.
- Periodically submit reports on the progress of his work to his direct manager, along with suggestions and recommendations.
- Doing any work assigned to him by his direct supervisor and that falls within the nature of his work.
