Design & material selection, ensure alignment with latest product development and
tracks the delivery of materials for assigned projects.
Develop control system engineering documents such as General Arrangements, Internal
Layouts, Bill of Materials, Power distribution drawings, Power supply and Heat load
calculation, I/O assignment and Termination details.
Develop control system detailed engineering documents such as System Design
Specifications, System Architecture, Control Narrative, Functional Logic Diagrams, Cause
and Effects, Network layouts and Operational Manuals.
Perform software and hardware detailed engineering, programming and configuration of
PLC/DCS and SCADA for Process control, safety shutdown and F&G system.
Design HMI and SCADA system interface displays, Graphics, Trends, Data logging,
Reporting and Alarm management.
Perform computer set‐up and software configuration for process control consoles,
controller’s installation and configuration, system integrations and relational databases.
Establishing 3rd Party system Interface with PLC/DCS using Industrial network and
automation protocols.
Assists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with
project team to ensure proper operation.
Coordinates and creates necessary drawings, equipment schedules for submittals and
installation.
Report to Project manager in terms of project progress and technical problems.
Participate in project FAT, SAT, onsite Commissioning and Start‐up.
Design, Engineering, Installation and Commissioning of Automation Projects
Customer interface for technical project reviews and other functions.
Review of basic engineering documents such as SOW, Specification, P&ID’s, Data Sheets
and Cause & Effect charts.
Preparation of project documentation like I/O’s List from P&ID, Functional Design
Specification, System Layout, Control Philosophy, Software Manuals, FAT & SAT Manuals
and O&M Manuals.
Programming and configuration of PLC & RTU using Ladder logic and functional blocks.
Configuration of cabinet HMI and SCADA systems graphics, tags, alarms, events, trends,
reports and interface with 3rd party systems.
Conduct FAT for PLC/DCS/RTU/SCADA control systems with client.
Supervise site installation team for proper and timely execution of site work and ensure
compliance with design and approved drawings submittals.
Perform various tests on the supplied and installed equipment such signal loop test,
point‐to‐point signal test and signal validation on PLC/DCS and HMI as per contract
requirements.
Prepare As‐built drawings, documentation and commissioning and SAT reports.
Report to project manager about project progress and technical problems.
