Main core job to managing and organize the department staff/resources along with all the required coordinated to finalize the following:
- Involvement in the negotiation and agreed the tender strategy i.e. One package/packages, PS items should be addressed, contractors categories should be involved in the project, prepare the short list for the proposed contractors…etc.
- Prepare tender documents (condition of contract, BOQ and specification) related to all Bayaty projects.
- Call for tenders, issue the required clarification/addendums, evaluating contractor’s technical and financial offers, prepare the tender analysis report for the submitted tenders with the required recommendations, involvement in the negotiation process between client and contractor, issuing the contract documents and the issued for construction documents.
- Call for quotation from the sub-consultant, evaluate the submitted offers, negotiation, and award.
- Negotiate, prepare and close out the consultancy/sub-consultancy contracts.
- Submitting technical and financial offers based on the received RFP received from Clients.
- Support Design/Project Managing in the design stage regarding to all contractual and financial issues.
- Follow up through the whole process to issue the required NOCs, design approvals and building permits.
Team leader for the quantities take off task for Architectural, Interior Design, Structural and External Works. Prepare of Bill of Quantities. Prepare cost analysis of projects at pre-tender stage. Prepare technical and financial Tender Analysis Report (TAR) with the required recommendations. Review and prepare proposals comparisons sheets for the received proposals. Review and prepare summary of Contractor’s Prequalification. Report to the Project Manager. Evaluate contractor’s variations, claims and interim payments.
Pre Contract: Tacking off Quantities and preparing bill of quantities for various projects
following up the daily site activities, review and approve shop drawings, approved the contractor monthly payments, QA & QC
