Working as IP/MPLS Sr. Expert Engineer for Asiacell IP/MPLS core, consist of Cisco
& Huawei nodes.
* Responsible for complete network audit (physical & configuration) for
IP/MPLS network based Huawei core (NE80E, NE40E).
* Configuration and troubleshooting of 3G nodeB (IP RAN), services.
* Redundancy support for the 3G nodeB using HSRP. (Primary, Backup, 3rd
Backup)
* VLAN configuration through RPR rings and access switches.
* Assist core team regarding GGSN/SGSG & RNC issues.
* Troubleshooting and configuration of MPLS network (LDP, RSVP and IGP)
* Extensive knowledge of MPLS layer 2, Layer 3 VPNS (configuration and
troubleshooting).
* Extensive knowledge of LDP (configuration and troubleshooting)
* Extensive knowledge of RSVP (MPLS Fast reroute and Traffic engineering)
* To assist with testing of new design & architectures, perform network
configuration changes, migrations, Pre and Post configuration tests for
planned activities.
* Comprehensive knowledge of protocols BGP and OSPF, ISIS & EIGRP.
* Comprehensive knowledge of switching protocols STP, RSTP, VRRP, HSRP.
* Excellent concepts of Network Monitoring (U2000/PRTG/CACTI/CiscoPrime)
and fault identification.
* Monitoring End to End Network Performance IP core network as well as for
3G Access and Core networks.
* Identification, follow up and resolution of degradation/Points of failure which
may impede Service Quality.
* Making Reports, documents and presentations for Internal and Customer
Usage.
* Reporting of Key Performance Indicators for IP, and 3G network.
* Excellent analytical and troubleshooting ability.
* Strong practical knowledge of all major IP routing protocols.
* Involved in case opening/handling with Huawei TAC support team.
* Building configuration for the entire IP network including LAN, WAN and
Security with Cisco Routers, Switches, and ASA Firewall.

* Advanced features in the IP routing protocols such as OSPF tuning(failure
detection, flooding, VPNV4(MP-BGP, peer group, route reflector), MPLS(LDP),
Qos \[EF, CS, AF, BE\], VPN-MPLS(L2\[Gb traffic\], L3\[VOIP and SIGTRAN\]) for traffic
segregation, MPLS-TE by RSVP-TE/FRR, and security & management (logging,
Syslog, SNMP, NTP, DNS, SSH, CDP, TACACS+, VRRP, NSRP, HSRP)
* Responsible for complete network audit (physical & configuration) for
IP/MPLS network based Cisco core routers ASR1006/1002, 2900, 2800 and
switches 3600, 4500, 3750, 3550.
* Configuration of LT2Pv3 tunnels and MPLS layer 2/3 VPNs. I am currently
involved in all the troubleshooting of L2/L3 VPNs issues which includes the
MTU and other tunnel issues.
* Routing Protocols (MBGP, BGP, OSPF), MPLS (RSVP & LDP).
* Looking after the ISP switching techniques which include the redundant
switching topology, Access layer switching.
* To make sure the BGP issue like, latency, throughput, Policy routing also the
end to end troubleshooting of all the BGP and IGP issues.
* To assist with testing of new design & architectures, perform network
configuration changes, migrations, Pre and Post configuration tests for
planned activities.
* Designed and Implemented new QOS Architecture based on IP Precedence
and MPLS Exp Bits through MQC on all Routers/Switches Nationwide.
* To monitor Internet traffic on 4 Internet Gateways from upstream providers
and suggest new BGP polices to optimize the use of bandwidth.
* Assist and train Field Engineers for Level 2 support.

Usage.

* Building many advance Cisco network topology, using (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF and
BGP).
* Building many Cisco voice network topologies, using (H.323, MGCP, SIP and
Cisco Unified Call Manager).
* Working with Cisco IT campus and Datacenter campus as setup and
configuration.
