• Manage and oversee the operation and maintenance of Zaatari wastewater treatment plant
• Develop camps wide strategies for off-site and on-site wastewater treatment and management systems
• Develop decentralized wastewater treatment systems and sustainable solutions
• Lead WASH training and capacity building for local partners in relevant areas including: Wastewater treatment, sludge management, Water Safety Plans (water quality testing and monitoring), hygiene promotion/community mobilization, water sustainability, wastewater and grey water reuse and other topics.
• Participate in developing WASH section’s strategies.
• Ensure cost effectiveness of all WASH interventions on camps level and host community level
• provide direct and remote technical assistance to other WASH programs in KAP Camp and host communities.
• Coordinate with All Wash partners, Stakeholders including WAJ, water utilities, MOI, MOE, MOH, SRAD and camps management.

• Supervise Wastewater and greywater reuse systems implemented by UNICEF’s partners and INGOs
• Supervise solar systems (to support water pumping) construction.
• Carry out and oversee the operation of the water and wastewater networks in Za’atari camp
• Participate in design, implementation and operation of water and wastewater networks in Zaatari camp
• Responsible for day-to-day coordination with the contractors, consultant and suppliers according to the needs and requirements on site.
• Manage/oversee the operation of the sewer lifting stations in Zaatari camp
• Run the operation of 9 water pumping stations in Zaatari camp
• Oversee Zaatari Networks SCADA system that covers the whole networks
• Manage/oversee the operation of 3 Water wells inside the camp
• Develop assets management plan for the water and wastewater network
• Develop risk assessments plan
• Develop preventive maintenance plans
• Develop work plans and procurement plans for the projects
• Conduct technical assessments, and provide technical inputs for KAP, rapid needs assessments and any other assessments.
• Participate in project related meetings and coordination activities, and report on the outcomes.
• Participate in giving technical inputs for the biogas reactor project implemented by FAO
• Supervising a team of 10: engineers, community mobilizers, hotline operators
• Develop community mobilization strategies for the camp
