• Responsible for managing and controlling performance, cost & capacity of Warehouse.
• Managing the logistics, inventory & storage of the company with a team of 60+ Employees in 7.5K sq. mtr warehouse.
• Leading warehouse operation such as inbound, outbound, GRN, Production issuance, sales issuance, inventory, good warehousing practice, WMS, GRVs, cycle, periodic counts & team handling.
• Managing 100+ Pallet’s stock inbounds daily; 10, 000+ SKUs; 9K+ pallet positions in the warehouse; 40+ production work order’s issuance daily.
• Managing supply chain by ensuring availability of all relevant materials in proper stock level that can sustain uninterrupted operations.
• Implementing standards and procedures in best warehousing practices and provide leadership in the achievement of the department’s core deliverables.
• Conducting audits on based on SOPs, analyze data & propose process improvement initiatives.
• Monitoring and analyzing customer experience and delivery performance. Maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs.
• Focusing on service quality development, performance management and productivity across the line to include regular benchmarking, performance reports and reviews.
• Forecasting requirements; preparing annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Working closely with MD and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
• Working closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reduce sub-rental expenses.
• Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels; processing purchase orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
• Managing day-to-day operations across multiple shifts with a team of 30+ employees.
• Participating in the development of specifications for equipment, products, or substitute materials necessary for warehousing needs.
• Establishing all operational policies for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise and customer orders as well as the reclamation of damaged merchandise.
• Planning and administering stock levels at brand - item / location level and take corrective actions such as placing orders, to achieve planned sales.
• Controlling & implementing distribution to affect optimum stock levels by showroom.
• Initiating the analysis of aging stock and implement agreed method for clearing unwanted stock.
• Working in conjunction with other departments to manage the product ordering, inventory control and distribution activities throughout the warehouse.
• Planning all administrative and operational functions that include preparing RTV’s, invoicing, checking stock availability, deliveries, damages, communication of PO’s etc.
• Overseeing all Inventory transactions; sales, receiving, discrepancies upon receiving, transfers between countries, transfers between Factories, Price changes, Return to Vendor & defected items to ensure compliance to set policies and procedures.
• Managing employees in safe and efficient finished product warehousing, outside storage, special packaging & all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensuring all inventories on hand are handled properly in ERP throughout the reconciliation process and month-end closing.
• Maintaining dock and storage facilities in an organized manner.
• Responsible for the supervision, development & performance of the warehouse staff.
• Ensuring efficient communication level with suppliers on various issues among which credit notes related to return to vendor, damages & change of price.
• Running monthly physical inventory count status to be started and measured against Warehouse Lead annual cycle count plan.
• Designing and implementing an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
• Reviewing, choosing & executing warehouse management system solutions for all locations.
• Checking routine inventory costs that impact KPIs and communicate outcomes.
• Conducting regular inspections of fire extinguishers, fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
• Managing & controlling perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks.
• Randomly testing the inventory of storage, counter by reconciling the opening stock with closing stock.
• Compiling inventory reports and issuing them to management.
• FEFO (First Expiry First Out), FIFO (First In First Out) & Stock Management.
• Accountability of physical Stock, cycle counts of entire warehouse in each quarter.
• Maintaining accurate stock level in ERP system. Stock control & Inventory Management for complete Warehouse.
• Delivery Note, Transfer of stock, manual invoices, sample, issuing as per authorization & updating the system.
• Minimizing overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant materials to quarantine area.
• Order Fulfillment (Export/Franchise) organizing, dispatching & recording.
• To arrange for returns, spoilage & damages, expiry, near expiry, slow, non-moving stocks, updating the same & reporting.
• Ensuring integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
• WMS Training and support to warehouse team.
• Assuring safe working environment and immediately fix any violation to safety regulations.
• Ensuring compliance of all Quality, Safety requirements as per legal requirements & company policy.
• Investigating fraud, theft & operational issues that may impact the profit of the company business.
• Providing needed reports like Fast Moving / Slow Moving and advise whether the replenishment or the promotion to be applied accordingly, providing technical support regarding all inventory applications.
• Assuring that all system transactions are done on time and accurately and compliant with standard operating procedures.
• Controlling measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.
• Operational performance and achieve a minimum of 90% inventory record accuracy.
• Creation of Fill Rate report for order fulfillment - Daily Basis.
• Goods receiving function such as Offloading, Checking, and put away of all incoming consignments.
• Ensuring proper checking, dispatch and loading of vehicles against the dispatch documentation.
