It is a multinational company. The role involves the duties like documentation of newly designed accounting software, attending meetings and taking minutes of the meeting and conducting a marketing research for the IT department.
The role helped me in polishing my interpersonal skills, time management and stress handling skills and also helped me to attain high level of attention to details.
The role involved the registration of candidates for the entry test exam of the university and offering them advice on the admission related issues.
The role has furnished me with customer service, time and stress management and communication skills.
Master in Business Administration (MBA), International Business; International financial management, Global Marketing and Management in emerging economies Student representative of class of MBA 2010-2011 Dissertation: Completed a live project a company “IDP Education”. I conducted marketing research to examine the feasibility of a business opportunity for the company to start their operations in UK. Poster competition: Worked on the marketing strategies of an organization “Lion’s Club International” and presented that to different judges of Cardiff University. Business Project: Prepared a business project report for air freshener business. All the potential competitors and market factors were analyzed. The report was presented to the panel in which people from the industry were there to analyses the work. It was a group project so team working abilities were also enhanced along with the industry knowledge.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Concentration in Finance, CGPA 3.06/4 Strategic Management: Performed the strategic analysis of “STYLO Shoes” using different models i.e. potters five forces etc. Finance Project: Project of fixed income analysis. Selected US treasury bonds and made a mock portfolio. Prepared a report which includes the reasons that affected the price and yields of the bonds during the 4 week period of the project Marketing Projects: Learned the techniques to conduct marketing research by conducting survey on readership habits among youth in marketing research course. Analyzed consumer behavior towards the products of “ICI’s Paints, Pakistan” in Consumer Behavior course. HRM Project: Prepared a report on HR Practices at “ICI Paints, Pakistan”, their hierarchy and working of the department. HR Practices in Readymade Garment Industry of Pakistan as well. Accounting and Management Projects: A project on “Doctors Hospital, Pakistan”. Basic purpose of the project was the comparison of real practices of accounting concepts with the theoretical concepts. Also prepared a report on the Management Practices at “ICI Paints, Pakistan” compared to the theoretical framework.
