Ø Commission, troubleshoot and maintain Siemens Mechanical
Drive (FLENDER Gearbox’s) & Electrical Motors (SIEMENS) Applications at customer sites, both throughout the Lower Gulf Region and internationally
Ø Conduct product training courses for customers in coordination with Siemens training team
Ø Technical support for retrofit, spare parts, service contracts and field service business in coordination with relevant managers
Ø Report and document all installations at customer site
Ø Coordinate with Siemens customer support center to ensure timely and professional responses to customer requests within agreed KPIs
Ø Work with Siemens customer support center to escalate engineering enquiries as required
Ø Attending daily shift managers meeting, and coordinate with the operation manager/superintendent for the required equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance without effecting the operation demands and as well as the equipment durability, reliability and availability.
Ø Receiving remaining duties from the previous senior.
Ø Plane jobs according to priorities and the availability of Equipment (STS, RTG, Reach stackers, Diesel Engines and Generators).
Ø Distributing the maintenance and repair jobs on First and junior engineers and Workers.
Ø Follow up system WO and released to shift manager after completion of work during his shift and resolve any unforeseen problems.
Ø Receiving breakdown calls from Operation and assigning Staff according to work requirements & priorities.
Ø In case of accidents, I obliged to survey, arrange with Shift Manager, proceed for repair, and then issue a report-with photos whenever required. Reporting the jobs require to be followed up with the next shift.
Ø Reporting the difficulties faced in my shift, deficiencies in Staff performance and proposes the necessary suggestions to overcome them and improve Staff skills.
Ø Supervises maintenance and repair works through First and junior engineers, communicating correct procedures and assigning duties.
Ø Assist in the training of SCCT Engineering Staff as required.
Ø Perform other duties as may be requested by Shift Manager.
Ø Fully comply with all SCCT HSSE policies, Departmental SOPs etc.
Ø Promote a culture to ensure full compliance with all applicable Safety Standards.
Ø Take diligent care of all SCCT property and materials.
Ø Actively participate in relevant SCCT, ENG and HSSE Process Improvement initiatives, other Continuous Improvement Programs and initiatives.
Ø Ensure that all my subordinates thoroughly understand all relevant work procedures.
Ø Personally visit at regular intervals work site where my subordinates are working.
Ø Ensure proper communication channels are established for each work group.
Ø Ensure performing assigned reliability tasks & TPM methodology.
Ø Ensure shift data with high quality including all document papers and IFS WO’s.
1.Responsible for receiving equipment's from sites into workshop and perform inspections beside equipment check list and bunch list.
2. ensure the rectifications of all abnormalities founds with the maximum qualities and safe environmental conditions.
3. apply modifications to increase productivity, reliability and durability of equipment and safety of people dealing with it.
4. testing and commissioning the equipment to be ready for certification before back into operation.
5. deliver the equipment to sites with recommended preventive maintenance and reliability tasks.
