Implement different infrastructure backup, storage and SAN solutions and services including Avamar, Data Domain, NetBackup, HP3PAR and SAN Switches. This also includes racking, installing required software packages, installing patches & hot-fixes, configuring the solution & shipping to customer site.
- Manage Implementation projects from the point of their assigning from the head of transition, until handover to infrastructure operation teams.
- Perform Migrations to existing customer platforms to introduce newly implemented solutions.
- Manage customers (internal and external) calls and requests during project implementation time and until handover to operation teams.
- Conform to existing implementation/transition processes
- Perform Technical & management escalation as implied by the escalation process to ensure infrastructure tasks are progressing toward resolution and/or completion.
Administering around 1.5 PB of SAN storage on Symmetrix VMAX 10K, 20K, 40K, DMX4, CLARiiON, VNX, VPLEX, SVC, and IBM DS8800.
- Monitoring EMC storage performance using ECC and performance Manager.
- Monitoring IBM storage performance using TPC.
- Planned and executed a DR solution using SRDF and RecoverPoint.
- Managing and monitoring the ongoing replication between production and DR sites using SRDF and RecoverPoint.
- Administering Cisco MDS 9509 and 9513 Fibre switches directors using Device Manager, Fabric Manager and putty.
- Administering a backup environment contains Data Domain, EDL and SUN Tape Library using NetBackup.
- Was able to decrease the overall utilization of the LUNs provisioned for Siebel application servers from 100% to 75% by enabling Easy-Tiering feature on IBM SVC which wasn’t used before.
1- Proactive Monitoring and Troubleshooting of VoIP routes between the company & its customers .
2- Administration &Troubleshooting of VoIP gateways .
3- Troubleshooting technical problems that are faced by our customers all over the world via Head to Head Tests.
4- Configuring new VoIP routes
