Thesis Project (Graduation Project): Title: Simulation of Hydrodesulphurization and Catalytic Reforming of Naphtha. The project studied the importance of Hydrodesulphurization process for the removal of sulfur from crude oil and/or its derivatives. Firstly, three different models have been used to simulate this unit. These simulations were done in collaboration with computer science department using C++ as a programming language. Secondly, a study of the catalytic reforming unit was commissioned. The purpose of this unit is to increase the octane number of Naphtha fuels to meet the international and standard specifications. The study concluded the best model that fits this type of unit.
