- Osman Group Co, is an Egyptian leading supply chain provider for 3PL & 4PL services -to all types of business- including warehouse management, inventory management, transportation management, distribution management, etc.

- I am responsible for all activities to achieve our customers' satisfaction.

- Overall management of Supply Chain activities includes Demand Forecasting, Production Planning, Procurement, In/Out Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory Control, Order Processing, Packing & Packaging and Material Handling).
- Handling Contracts with vendors.
- Review all logistics process and systems in order to ensure proper Implementation, in addition, improve or modify (in order to eliminate rework and inefficiencies) in regard to the current requirements.
- Ensure up-to-date and accurate information and reporting system are maintained including, but not limited to, procurement, warehouse management, products tracking system, transportation and asset inventory.
- Continuous focus in Total Logistics costs reduction (Transportation, Material Handling, procurement, inventory carrying, order processing, warehousing and administration costs) for the company and its customers as well, through developing logistics business plans and services with customers (concepts, processes and tools) to improving the overall performance.
- Ensure all departments are aware of logistics procedures in relation to their activities.
- Prepare periodical reports.
- Prepare & monitor annual logistics budget to ensure extra expenditure will not occur without logic justification.
- Report critical budgeting issues to CFO and other key personnel.
- Carry out logistics staff appraisals.
- Organize and facilitate training workshops to ensure all personnel are fully familiar with logistics procedures and systems (including partners’ organizations if necessary).
- Obtain and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date information for inbound & outbound shipments with different countries, transit time, costs, fees, etc.
- Develop excellent communications with all concerned internal and external parties.
- Familiar with the application of ERP systems (Oracle & SAP).
- The best usage of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and benchmarking tools for better performance improvement.

- Manage various aspects of logistics activities (particularly import / export activities) and raw materials & finished goods warehouses.

- Coordination with Container terminals management team in all Egyptian ports for the sake of proper and smooth vessels' loading and discharging operations.

- Transportation from any Egyptian marine port to other marine/dry ports concerning full import / export containers with best transit time either through trucks or feeders.

- Inventory control for full import / export / empty and transshipment containers / equipment in all marine and dry ports to ensure maintaining the ideal usage of shipping line's equipment aiming to achieve customer satisfaction and lowest logistics cost in the same time.

- Warehousing: Selection of the best conditions for depots / warehouses (storage tariff + equipment availability + best customer service) for the benefit of shipping line and customers through the successful application of JIT policy.

- Order processing: ensuring smooth procedures in order to maintain the best level of customer satisfaction in both full import / export sides.

- Solving customers' problems / claims with customs authority depending on our good relationship with customs officials.

- Following up all idle full import cases in Egyptian ports.
- First in First out procedure for empty containers loading in order to avoid unnecessary storage charges.

- Rationalize "empty containers behavior" in order to avoid paying unnecessary handling charges.

- Ensure submitting proper import / export documents to customs and other regulatory authorities in ports in time to avoid any problem and/or fines.

- Full awareness & knowledge of all import / export and customs procedures for all kinds of shipments & commodity.

- Reporting to CMA CGM head office in Marseille / France in daily/weekly/monthly basis concerning the performance of logistics activities in Egypt and also required statistics & analysis which may develop our work activities to have their approval for implementation.
