Having overall responsibility for the recruitment policies of the company and also the welfare of the staff. Also managing the information held on the HR database and personnel files to ensure it is updated in a timely and accurate manner. Ensuring that all procedures comply with state and federal laws.
Duties:
• Developing the HR plans and in conjunction with the company’s overall development plan.
• Recruitment, hiring and employee relations in departments.
• Interpreting policies and procedures to ensure agency vision, mission and goals are achieved.
• Investigating and providing guidance on employee relations issues through progressive disciplinary process.
• Keep current with employment law and HR regulations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Member of strategic management team that aligned business objectives with employee.
• Identifying vacancies, post open job; screen, interview and match applicant with open positions, background and reference checks, extend offer and employee on-boarding.
• Analyzing and modifying benefits to be cost effective for the company and the best coverage for employees.
• Ensuring compliance by providing proficient guidance of state and federal laws.
• Developing and implementing the performance appraisal system for the company and coordinating it with other line managers.
• Developing induction programmes for the new recruits.
• Working out the compensation plan and policies.
• Developing various reports for management which make it easy to make decisions regarding the current resources.
