• Reviewing the inspection work packs for pressure systems, pipelines, structures, tanks, sub-sea and floating systems which are prepared by technical assistants based on the RBI inspection frequency prior to issuance to inspection team.
• Ensuring that the work instructions are communicated to the Inspection team in a clear and effective manner and the work is carried out efficiently, incompliance with the inspection plan and work packs.
• Executing inspection and Non destructive testing activities in line with the requirements of the inspection program.
• Supervise and participates in advance non-destructive testing (IRIS/MFL/REPLICA..etc) of equipment and piping, including review of preliminary interpretations carried out by subordinates.
• Carries out intrusive and non-intrusive inspection for stationary equipments, piping system, storage tanks, heat Exchangers...etc.
• Regularly reviewing the inspection schedule and developing and optimizing the implementation plans.
• For all intrusive inspection, Co-ordinate with inspection campaign support team for ensuring that the equipment is available in time for inspection.
• Ensuring that the inspection of all relevant stationary equipments, piping system, tanks etc are completed in time according to the technical expiry date of each item according to MAXIMO.
• Reviewing and validating inspection results and feeding the outcome back in to the RBI Process for the system.
• Maintaining inspection and degradation management records (including inspection and testing reports, maintenance and remedial reports)
• Responsible for Preparing Inspection -related repair work orders based on the inspection findings, closing actions against anomalies and making recommendations for modifications and changes in operating practices in order to maintain mechanical integrity and deliver continuous improvement.
• Verifying that repairs, modification or renewals to equipment are carried out in accordance with the Repair order recommendation, approved method statement or SOW..etc.
• Informing plant management of any items of equipment which become overdue for their next inspection and advising corrective actions.
• Liaise with operations, maintenance and Engineering staff to secure timely formal approval for any “Deferral” of Inspection/endorsement.
