• Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
• Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as client (SOCAR KBR) requirements
• Attendance at Progress (Daily, Weekly) Review Meetings, HSE & Welfare Meetings, and other meetings as directed. Represent Project HSE Department at meetings and consultations with client representatives
• Track and maintain HSE training records to ensure all employees are continuously in compliance
• Implement and maintain the EHS Management System in accordance with the requirements of SSC, OSHA, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and other regulatory agencies and ensure compliance using appropriate change methodologies.
• Assist the departments in the assessment of safety issues, coordinating the root cause analysis and the identification and implementation of containment and corrective actions
• Keeps in contact with external Health Organization
• Assist the departments in the preparation of the documentation for the safety in the working site, supporting the personnel delegated on site as responsible of Safety
• Responsible for the risk-inventory and evaluation
• Act and has responsibility as Prevention Worker according Local Legislation
• Act as HSE site manager for customer projects
• Investigate and complete the process for close out of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned to the Regional HSE Manager for promulgation to the management.
• Conduct HSE trainings to Expats.
• Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with Company policies and safety standards.
• Plan and implement audit programs for site welfare & worker’s accommodation, HSE and security across all contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and ensure the execution of audit programs. This will be based on Migrant Workers Welfare Mandatory Standards

• To assist the Region Manager in ensuring compliance with all company HSE policies, procedures and relevant client / regulatory requirements
• Liaise directly, as required, with relevant client and regulatory authority representatives
• Co-ordinate HS Leads-HS Supervisors-HS Advisors and Assist with supervision of existing process for regular inspections on sites, and coordinate and support incident investigations of local incidents, providing recommendations and corrective actions where required.
• Provides daily task instruction to HS Leads
• Facilitate and/or participate in HAZID meetings, Task Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment, environmental monitoring and Incident investigation and Root cause analysis.
• Regularly checking whether Emergency Response Procedures (fire, abandon vessel/evacuate site, medical, spill) are in up to date and are known to personnel on vessels/sites.
• Conducting periodic audits to ensure emergency response capabilities are maintained in a state of readiness.
• Prepare a development programme for HSS team members
• Review and approve Sub-Contractor assurance and compliance procedures and plans
• Participate in the SCPX Readiness Review and “Go No Go” process and endorse, from an HSS perspective, readiness to commence work

• Assisting emergency response exercises/training and participating in responding to emergency situations involving hazardous materials, or fire and smoke incidents; prepares reports of findings and recommendations.
• Monitor operations and provide advice, as appropriate, with regards to Standard Operating Practices (SOPs), Risk Assessments and Hazard Identification

• Responsible and accountable for the development of total project safety management systems by adopting the safety standards and control of potential hazardous activities. This involves working on a wide range of differing situations and environments, across all operations within the project
• Control all Sub-Contractor’s development and onsite implementation of project specific HSE plans, risk reduction plans, safety awareness training programs.,
• Ensures the quality of all SV documentation and HS targets are met as per SV plans
• Ensure Internal HSS meeting organized and all actions discussed and followed up
• Represent the Company in a professional manner both on and off the job to include confidentiality of Company and client business
• Implementing Company HSE policies and standards for Local operations and adapting them to Local legislation requirements
• Conduct audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with all company HSE policies, procedures and relevant client / regulatory requirements
• Assist in reviewing work method statements job hazard analysis, safety certifications and other related documents submitted by project consultants and contractors.
• Attend meetings with all stake holders to review HSE progress on frequent basis as required.
• Analyze and address critical areas and provide prompt solutions.
• Facilitate communications and reporting on HSE Matters between project participants. Compliance and Enforcement of all Health, Safety and Environmental Issues (Project and Field Report Audits; Contractors Audits and Compliance with Industry Standards)
• Developing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions, utilizing knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health and safety regulation
