• Strategically planning & carrying preventive maintenance.
• Maintenance of equipments like pneumatic compressors, automatic winders, various conveying system, hoists, pneumatic & hydraulic system, furnace firing auxiliaries, choppers, heat exchangers, separators, various fluid pumps, blowers, fans, chemical applicators, compaction rollers, agitators, oven firing etc.
• Carrying out scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities in well head
• Carry out hydro test of well head line. Check the points during commisioning.
• Maintenance of heavy duty forging presses (2500-1250 tons), pneumatic hammers, metal shears, and various machines tools like planner, shapers, millers, boring m/c, metal feeders, pneumatic compressor, blower, fuel pump etc.
• Planning, scheduling of shut down, estimation of time, manpower, spare parts, tools &
Machineries as required during shutdown.
• Overhauling, trouble shooting and repair maintenance of all plant equipment such as pump, Compressor, fan, and blower, maintenance of gear boxes, assembly, belt, chain conveyor, Spindle and coupling, leveling and alignment of rotating and static equipment. Assembly and Dismantling of friction and anti-friction bearing and associated auxiliaries.
• Relining of Blast Furnace.
• Maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Having good knowledge of fits, clearance, and tolerance, all type of threads, fasteners.
• Sound knowledge of equipment / machine and maintain service track record.
