o Ensuring that customer payments are received in a timely and effective manner to best maximize the company's cash flow.
o Building effective lines of communication with customers ensuring that all queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
o Resolving queries both internally and externally to a high standard.
o Advising accounting and the customers on cash allocation for payments received without reference to specific invoices.
o Proposing appropriate credit limits and terms to limit the company's credit risk while maximizing sales.
o Monitoring and proposing adjustments to bad debts provision based on the company’s Credit Management manual.
o Ensuring that statements of account are sent monthly to all customers and any discrepancies resolved.
o Ensuring that concerns are investigated promptly and credits raised following authorization.
o Tracking the progress of customer accounts with monthly reports to highlight concerns and progress made.
o Highlighting solutions and improvements of current processes to develop and drive continuous improvement of the credit control function.
o Visiting new customers for credit risk interview & deploying credit.
o Providing periodic reports to management & stakeholders.
o Sending & collecting periodic balance confirmations from customers.
o Reconcile customer account if any dispute escalate with concern sales/stakeholders.
o Periodic check ageing report & contact customer over the phone calls & mails.
o Presenting quarterly reports to management through PPT.
o Highlighting solutions and improvements of current processes to develop and drive continuous improvement of credit function.

Maintain a department organizational structure sufficient to meet all goals and objectives.
Properly motivate the credit and collections staff.
Manage relations with collection team
Maintain the corporate credit policy.
Recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management.
Manage customer credit files.
Monitor the credit granting and updating process

Review AR sub-ledger and identify any need for accruals, provisions, and adjustments before performing reconciliation and prepare adjustments JVs as a part of the Period-end Reporting process.
Prepare the Reconciliation report in coordination with the customer after generating the customer Statement of Accounts (SoA) from the AR system
