Implement & maintaining Project Planning and Scheduling by applying Engineering, Procurement, Construction terminology, Concepts, and Relationships
Review, check and evaluate the Contractor’s schedule of works. Following the review, recommend acceptance/rejection of the Contractor’s schedule to SRE for forwarding the recommendation to the Engineer (PMC) and Client for program acceptance.
Analyzing, evaluating, and forecasting status against an established baseline schedule
Assess the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages. Inform the SRE/Planning Manager (to inform PMC / Client) of any potential delays in the project completion or the milestones.
Prepare weekly, monthly (or any period agreed with the Engineer (PMC / Client) reports about the status of construction progress.
Implement and maintaining an Earned Value Management System on the project
Analyzing cost and schedule performance indicators (CPI and SPI)
Providing assessment with corrective action recommendations to management.
Analyze, assess and participate in discussions about any suggested recovery program by the Contractor to mitigate any delays.
Monitor the project controls KPI and construction commodities. Review, analyse and comment on the updated schedules against the approved baseline and key dates.
Using Primavera Project Management (P6) and Primavera web scheduling software for monitoring and reviewing the baseline and updated project schedules
Produce/assist in various periodical reports to the Client such as Weekly Dashboard, Milestone Weekly Report, Monthly Progress Report and other frequent Ad-hoc reports
Reviewing Contractor's periodical reports/ work programme submissions including narratives and supporting information and provide analysis and findings
Verifying actual progress and comparing actual performances to original plans.
Preparing Project Resource Histogram, Performance Analysis data, Earned Value Management, Change Control, Data Analysis, Trend analysis & Extension of Time claim analsis.
Perform Extension of Time (EOT) & Concurreny analysis along with detailed narratives for the Contractor’s Claims/Delay Events.
Attend the Monthly Progress Meeting with the Client to review AECOM's Monthly Report, Bi-weekly Planning meeting with the Contractor & the Client to discuss the planning related issues.
Ensure quality standards, keep track of project progress and ensure that the project is completed on time and on budget (for more than 200 major roads & Infrastructure Projects)
Produce Current Master Programme (Baseline/Forecast/Cost/Area/Priorities/Status/Progress%) every month based on the reports/forecasts received from five different consultants
Review the Clause 14 Baseline programmes, Generate various Ad hoc reports & presentation for the Senior management/ Client review & approval
Produce Monthly Internal Reports to Design, Construction, Commercial & Stakeholder team to highlight critical issues and decision supporting information to senior management
Work closely with the Change Control Management system for the Project Scope/Schedule/Budget variation (Gateway approvals for the individual project progress tracking/management)
Involved in Tender Processing / Debriefing to evaluate the tenders from the major International Design & Supervision Consultants
Guarantee adherence of budget and schedule by working closely with the site workforce once project is underway
Prepare Baseline programmes and required revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients and sub-contractors.
Prepare monthly progress reports with daily manpower deployment, Equipment usage and material requirement.
Generate project progress s-curves to closely monitor the project deviation from planned values.
Requisition BOQ revisions and additional items to complete construction projects and obtain necessary certificates and permits.
Arrange and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports. Evaluate construction methods and determined cost-effective of plans.
Attend regular meetings with consultants regarding progress, scope changes, submittals and site inspections.
Liaise with and supervise the work of the other professionals involved in the project and make sure the aims of the project are met.
Produce weekly internal reports on the projects and oversee resource availabilities and assignment.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge of project scope to sub-ordinate workers.
Handle responsibility of coordinating and communicating the ongoing and schedule activities to clients and other departments.
Monitor progress and follow up with clients for financial matters including billing and payments, etc.
