Providing Procurement Management Services ONLINE to client. Detailed study of project, Producing Project Bill of Quantities, Organizing Project Reqirements, Preparing Procurement Schedule in line with the project Construction Schedule, Sorting requirements by priority and production/delivery schedules, Preparing Material Requisition or Request for Proposal Packages incorporating all the project requirements, Following Up proposals, Reviewing and requesting corrections or revisions in the proposals, comparing proposals recieved to ascertain best vendor, shortlisting vendors, initiating negotiations in coordination with the project manager, preparing draft order/subcontract agreement with full details, follow up production, inspection, delivery schedules, Preparing Inspection Assignment Packages, coordinating inspections, etc.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Studying project after award (drawings, specifications, contract terms and conditions)
- Produce a comprehensive list of materials required for the project.
- Prioritize the list. Assign critical dates (date of submittal, order, delivery)
- Request quotations, follow up quotations, analyze quotations (compare against specifications, drawings), Prepare a commercial (price) comparison for approval of procurement manager
- Make submittal (Material Requsirions). Follow up until formally approved by client.
- Make Purchase order. Follow up approval, payment, etc, track order production / delivery status.
Summary of Experience: Has 22 years of experience in Engineering based procurement and material control and contracts in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Worked on various prestigious projects for prestigious clients like Saudi Aramco, Sabic, Sceco. Projects worked involved construction of industrial facilities, petrochemical facilities, lab & research facilities, commercial buildings, shopping malls, residential buildings, etc. Has considerable experience working with American, British and other International standards for materials and sub-contracts. Very good on-hands experience with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards, Material Specifications, Process Industry Practices, Quality procedures (Schedule Q), etc.
Can independently handle procurement of any project.
