➲ HAVE BEEN WORKING AS A VESSEL & YARD SUPERVISOR, SPECIALIST IN VESSEL OPERATIONS AT KGL PORTS INTERNATIONAL, RAS AL KHAIMAH- UAE.
Responsibilities:
• Operating the Liebherr STS
• Monitoring the entire VESSEL operations.
• Responsible to check the availability of all the equipment before / during the operations.
• Deploy the suitable equipment, manpower according to the container volumes.
• Responsible to ensure the safety measures before the discharging/Loading operations.
• Responsible to load/discharge containers at the planned position.
• Responsible to get updated all the containers by LXE at the real time.
• Monitoring of all truck-in and truck-out activities of the terminal.
• Assigning different tasks to Lashers / Tally Clerks.
• Supervise entire CFS, stuffing/ de-stuffing Operations.
• Check the examination containers with documentation staff on daily basis.
• Coordination and Follow the instructions of planners and Team Leader on various issues.
• Monitoring yard and Vessel activities.
• Co-ordinate with Engineering Department for Equipment maintenance and availability.
• Making/manipulating the equipment operators for smooth working.
• Placement of Equipment as per planning Department for Discharging & Loading to Vessels and for daily yard activities
• Keeping track all the Hustlers, RTGs, R/S, Empty Handlers and fork lifter.
• Responsible for smooth and efficient loading of cargos into the ships
• Responsible to Deploy the Yard Equipment according to the requirement.
• Responsible to make the roster of Equipment Operators.
From Oct/2004 to Aug /2008.
➲ Have worked as an Operations Supervisor in one of the leading container terminal in Karachi. "Karachi International Container Terminal" (A member of Hutchison Port Holdings Group)
From July 1986 to Sep 2004.
➲ Have worked as a Supervisor in Premier Mercantile Services with very comprehensive responsibilities. In 18 years of experienced, have performed al most in all the areas of operations.
• Expertise in "Remote Data Terminals (RDT) . KICT'S full operations based on RDT system
• Sound knowledge of Ms Office.
