• To look after client’s projects and its progress.
• Evaluate basis for variations, claims monthly valuations and final accounts submitted by the Contractors and/or Consultants against original contract scope..
• Take-off quantities, estimating process and prepare bill of quantities when required.
• To do cost saving on provisional sums (PS) and prime cost (PC) items according to the client’s requirement and budget.
• To Analyze/review quoted rate of the items by contractor and sub-contractor during pre-stage and post stage tendering.
• Preparing Tender / Bid Analysis Reports and identify grey areas.
• Administer Procurement Processes, negotiate and award the Contract.
• Chair and manage Commercial Meetings.
• Identify the suppliers and contractors in local and overseas market.
• To prepare contracts as per UAE law with contractor and subcontractor for various approved works.
• Coordination with Clients / Consultants and Contractors.
The preparation of Bills and Schedules of Quantities of
materials, labour and services required in the construction and
equipment of building, or engineering works
* Checking daily progress as per Cash flow.
* Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project
work
* Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking
feasibility studies
* Performing risk and value management and cost control.
* Advising on procurement strategy.
* Preparing Monthly Progress Report (MPR) for every month
* Work out Quantities.
* Allocating work to subcontractors
* Service Entry for Subcontractor.
* Providing advice on contractual claims.
* Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports.
* Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
* Preparing and Follow-up for client Bill.
* Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in
current use.
* Daily Progress Report (DPR) Entry.
* Recalculate costs if the design or material changes.
Supervision of all activities on construction site.
* Maintain the quality of work as per QA/QC standards
* Maintain the work according to the design and specifications
* Certify progress claims from contractors
* Working out quantities of material requirements
* Manage the payments for contractors and suppliers
* Prepare a statement of final account recording the actual costs
of the project
* Measure and value the work done on site
* Monitoring of physical progress on site
* Preparation/Execution of Bar Bending Schedule
* Value completed project work
* Arrange for payments on completed project work
* Allocating duties to foreman and workers for daily activities
* Preparation of daily and monthly reports
* Extensive knowledge of couplers which are used in construction
to avoid lapping.
* All other responsibilities included in project installation.
Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance
with the applicable codes and standards.
* To check and confirm steel placement as per the RCC
drawing.
* Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site
QA/QC Manager.
* Preparation of BBS and monthly report for steel quantity
which are placed on site as per RCC drawing, and submitting
it to Qa/Qc Manager
