Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development in order to achieve the monthly sales target Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising Managing Director on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment. Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence.
Provide high standards of ongoing training for the sales team so that they possess sufficient products and technical knowledge to present information of the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner to the customer.
As a Laundry Manager, successfully started the laundry Department, Commissioning of equipment. Order FF&E. Recruitment of the staff, Held Pre-Opening Training sessions, and build a great team.
•Ensures all customers are provided prompt, efficient and accurate service as per international standards to achieve high level of guest satisfaction.
• Inspects guest laundry, dry cleaning and press work on a daily basis, to ensure optimum quality of work prompt pick-up and on time delivery of garments.
•Ensures that type of laundry chemicals used is in line with local environmental recommendations.
• Maintain all laundry’s equipment’s maintenance, replacement & order new to running smooth operation.
•Develops and implements standard operating procedure, as well as production and quality standard.
Takes full responsibility of hygiene cleanliness and maintenance of machines and work premises to ensure safety and higher productivity.
• On an annual basis reviews prices for Guest Laundry and Dry Cleaning/Pressing to ensure that they are competitive with those of key hotels competitors.
• Preparing the departmental budget and goals programmed.
•Analysis water report and take necessary action.
• Identifies and develops leadership qualities among the team in order to guide them towards the path of career advancement.
•Handles or resolves all guest complaints through close Supervision, recommends improvement in operation especially in the following aspects of developing better service standard, reduction of coast.
•Ensures that quality control for room and F&B linen is maintained, that the linen is clean, free of stains and pressed correctly
•Conduct the laundry’s benchmark survey and performance achievements twice a year with all competitors in the market
•Evaluates quality of textile samples for linen, uniforms and upholstery and makes recommendations on their quality.
•Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by General Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
Holds regular departmental meetings, keeping the laundry personnel informed of new methods and changes in procedures of the department
➢ Recruit, hire and train new laundry personnel
➢ Direct and supervise department workers
➢ Prepares annual budget of laundry supplies, operating equipments and payroll
➢ Maintains all equipments in safe, clean condition and good working order with the assistance of Engineering department
➢ Implements equipment safety programs
➢ Evaluates performance of department personnel
➢ Distribute linen as directed, working closely with Housekeeping and F&B department to meet daily requirements
Responsibilities
• Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from Management.
*Launders all table linen, uniforms, aprons and towels for all divisions of Dining Services.
*Works with General Manager of Commons dining on staffing needs; interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
*Schedules and supervises laundry staff, including writing and delivering performance evaluations, and oversees employee issues such as progressive discipline including termination.
*Supervises all Dining Services employees assigned to the laundry operation.
Coordinates any linen needs with Dining Services and Dining Events management, on non-board plan, board plan and Dining Events functions.
*Maintains inventory of necessary chemicals needed for operations.
*Places chemical orders as needed.
*Performs to make and/or supervise the maintenance and repair of heating plant and sewage treatment / maintenance and cleaning of All Laundry equipment.
*Maintains daily record keeping and inventory of products.
*Performs alterations and minor repairs on uniforms.
*Reports any equipment problems to Facilities Services.
*Purchases products from vendors.
*Interacts appropriately with management, administration and customers.
