As the Group Copywriter, I work on creative content required by the business. I help the business create brand stories for any new brands or new lines for pre-existing brands that we may introduce to the market. I also create brand literature, website content, social media content and spokesperson profiles for the company.

In my job as the copywriter, I ensure that all copy that goes out to external stakeholders is concise, updated and relatable. Stories that people will read and connect with.

INTISARS, a fine jewelry brand and Prismologie, a luxury beauty care range are the brands that fall under my purview. In addition to this, I also handle any additional copy that might be required.

As the Content Manager / Editor of Studentalk magazine, my job is to provide content for the magazine’s print edition, website, Instagram and Facebook. Between scouting for stories every month, writing feature articles, managing contributors, to coordinating with the design team, videographers and photographer, my job is ensuring that relevant content is adapted to and shared on our various platforms.

I also liaise with the Studentalk marketing team to create offers for clients, liaise with the P.R and Marketing departments of various universities for stories and with students across nine major universities in Kuwait.

In my brief time as the editor, I have improved the magazines content through stories that would be relevant to students. Cover stories with successful university Alumni, feature articles with international names like Sami Yusuf and Sam Vincent, and travel stories that would appeal to the magazine’s target audience.

I contribute to Alshaya's overall goal of optimizing consumer awareness about the individual brands franchised by the Company.

I support in reviewing media relations activities for the brands we franchise across the MENA markets (Middle East and North Africa), in order to build and enhance the overall quality and impact of editorial content (both traditional & online).

I help manage the Alshaya official Facebook page, both in terms of content creation as well as day to day management and reporting.

As a member of the Communications team, I also contribute stories to the Company magazine. As and when required to contribute to the internal communications team especially in organizing the Annual Management Conference.

I was responsible for media relations. My primary function was to ensure that media thinks of my client in a positive light and thus portrays it so, eventually to the target audience as well.

As a part of client servicing, I was to understand what the client was looking for, in terms of media plans, image strategy and approach to media interactions.

My job included giving monthly and quarterly reports to the client on targets that we has set for the brand and how successful we were in meeting those targets. It was also to highlight our problem areas and then consequently work on them.

I worked with an assistant who helped me in tracking and contacting important media personnel, coverage for the client, competitive analysis as well as drafting press release, invitations and various other literature.

At El Sol Strategic Consultants I have worked for prestigious brands like Sula Vineyards, Tag Heuer, Nourish Organics.

I was responsible for media relations for the client. The idea was to provide a positive and interesting view point for the journalist, to want to be interested in the client offerings, so that it could then translate into favourable coverage.

I was also involved in the strategy creation and execution function along with the marketing team, in order to amplify results. This involved meeting with the client and understanding what they were looking for and how best we could execute the plan, keeping in mind the challenges and limitations.

My job also included sending daily, monthly and quarterly reports to the client on the progress and challenges being faced in the process of image creation.

I handled brands like High Street Phoenix (high end shopping mall in Mumbai), Bo Concept (Furniture Brand), The Comedy Store India (Stand up comedy club).

Handling P.R accounts for the company. Responsible for maintaining media relations and ensuring editorial coverage.
