I first worked with Babajide during the early stages of our consideration to explore a Eurobond opportunity at a previous employer. I now know that the best decision we made for the Project was to have appointed his Bank as the Bookrunner, with him as the risk consultant/manager. This is a road that had been travelled by only 2 Banks out of the 22 Banks in Nigeria. At the risk of sounding too praiseful of Babajide, I must say that they are very few gentlemen with the depth of skill and empathy in risk management like him. Even in the most challenging times of the project, he always spoke those comforting words and found a way around obstacles. Ever focused on solutions and always looking for a way to say YES, I would recommend Babajide at any time as a thorough breed professional and risk manager that is always focused on the outcome.
