Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring organizational internal control policies and accounting standards followed for each and every expense incurred in project activities.
2. Contracting regular vendors to ensure proper timely deliveries at projects followed by proper billing on credit basis.
3. Implementation of internal controls for proper recording of expense approvals, ordering and goods receiving by programs staff.
4. Accounting voucher posting in Financial Accounting Software, support documents check, timely payment arrangements and verification of internal control documents.
5. Banking relationships for timely payments and financial control.
6. Ensuring policy compliance for all capital expenditures including market check, verification of prices and recording / tagging of assets.
7. Monthly closing and balancing of accounts, bank reconciliation, tax payments and reporting.
8. Relationship with donors, reporting to funding partners and donor organizations.
9. Arrangements for vendor, consultant, employee contracts. Overall administration of projects.
10. Budget preparation, variance analysis and management reporting.
11. Yearly closing of accounts, internal review and audit facilitation.
12. Financial reporting, maintenance of accounting software server and backups.
