Role: Managing Manpower, planning & scheduling Operation.
JOB PROFICIENCY
A) Mechanical Engineering & Planning Capability to achieve a detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing
plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.
Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction.
Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of MEP change work order.
Assist in the installation of MEP work.
Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEP Subcontractor.
Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals.
Liaison with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors and relevant staff.
Ensure that MEP Subcontractors provides and adheres to relevant Quality documentation/records.
Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to Project safety regulations.
Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.
Determine and develop the most suitable and economically viable construction and engineering methods for projects. Involved throughout the development stages, and are present on site during the build to oversee procedures. Estimate a timescale for a project and to ensure that the outlined deadlines are met. Closely coordinate with site managers and other engineers to ensure a project runs on schedule and that material supplies are sufficient.
Deciding on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each project stage.
Drawing plans; using specialized design software packages.
Ensuring plans meet the client’s specifications.
Making estimations for timescales and costs.
Supervising the project at all stages and providing solutions to problems.
Collaborating with site managers, surveyors, engineers, site worker and other professionals.
Organizing the transportation of materials.
Ensuring procedures are carried out safely.
B) Experience in process control & instrumentation. Familiar with various field instrument used in Refinery, Power & Gas Plant. Knowledge about PLC, DCS and F&G & HMI based automation system. Complete understanding of installation, testing & commissioning of various field instruments like RTD, TC, flow sensor, pressure sensors, smart Transmitter, digital positioner, control valve, ESDV, BDV, EXV, Dampers, solenoid valves, flame Scanner, Igniter Rod, local gauges, electronic switches etc. Knowledge about the process analyzers, weighing system, vibration system & F&G detectors. Good knowledge in calibration procedures using calibration bench, dead weight tester & various manometer based calibration. Reading & understanding of process & Instrument diagram, wiring diagram, loop diagram & functional logic diagram
